Yes jersey is expensive, yes its over fuckin crowded, but its home and i like it along with all of us other Jersey Webmasters. There is more to Jersey than you would ever think, so if you dont like Jersey who the fuck cares stay out of our state and heres a big :321GFY to all you Jersey haters.

Put down the crack pipe and crawl back into your backwoods shack, $400k for a house in Haworth is a steal. Stupid uneducated bumfucks like yourself see that price tag for a house that size and all of a sudden say Jersey is a shithole. Where do you live thats sooo special? I make tons of money off all my real estate in the so called "shithole of a State" Its such a huge shithole that there are more people in NJ per square mile than any other state in the US, i guess all these people love living in a Expensive shithole.

talk about a ripoff...shit something like that in here would be worth $70k if that..

is that located next to a "big" celebritie house?

thats the only explanation I have for such stupid inflated price....

NJ isn't that great, except for the fact that it's next to NYC.

I've got a lot of experience all over the U.S. (and Europe). People in and around NYC don't even look human. I won't even bring up the fact that they're also about the most vile people you'll encounter anywhere.

Can't believe anyone pays for this shit. "OOOH IT'S IN JERSEY WHICH IS NEXT TO NYC! NYC! OMG!"
Fucking morons.

Realestate in the NY/NJ area now have to be looked at as investments.
If they let that go for 375 and you drop 50k into it, you could bring it up pretty close to the 500k mark pretty fast.

maybe, if you are just buying one to flip.

but greater leverage can be had by buying property at 100 times monthly rental or less.

to build a real estate empire fast you need tenants paying your mortgages.

clue: midwest. some areas in the south, upper western states (dakotas), mi, wi, mn.

Morgan 11-06-2005 02:39 PM

I just bought a small (1800 sq ft) house here in Newport Beach for $810,000.00 last month. Total fixer upper too, already dumped 20k into flooring and landscaping.

welcome to sydney dumps

BaldBastard 11-06-2005 06:03 PM

I just looked and that place in NJ for 399 was a 5 bedroom place

might compare better to this one

http://www.justlisted.com.au/sp/jlre...pcode=2090&rg=

At $2,250,000

you don't know how lucky you are

wiggitywack 11-06-2005 06:43 PM

There is a simple explanation why someone would pay 400k for that place. I used to live one town over from Haworth and its can be best described as an ultra-rich-yuppie-family-town right outside NYC.

Someone will buy that dump, rip it down and build a brand new Mc Mansion.

It was funny to see this thread as I was back near was I used to live just yesterday (moved 2+ years ago out of NJ) and it's crazy - so many middle class / older homes in the area were torn down and huge Mc Mansions were built. Its not like projects are being ripped down and houses are being built in their place, we are talking nice ranchers or spilt levels going for 500k+, they are ripped down and another house is built in it's place that goes for 1.2 mil+.

Crazy shit. Lots of cash near NYC.

It's because they live within and or associate with people within their small "circle". They are afraid to step out there comfort zone and they fear the unknown! Fucking loosers in my book and I've lost a ton of respect for a few people on this board beause of their narrowminded views. I feel sorry for people who are ignorant and can't appreciate other cultures. Life's to short to be an idiot! I don't give a fuck how much $$ a person has, $$ doesn't buy class :2 cents:

Vitasoy 11-06-2005 07:25 PM

It's all about supply and demand... Location, location, location.

Spunky 11-06-2005 07:36 PM

Damn that sure doesn't buy much..almost as bad as here

Young 11-06-2005 07:41 PM

400k hardly gets you a studio condo in Boston. Outside of Boston a shack.

What a fucking shithole. In any sane real estate market, this would be a black owned house in a shit neighborhood.

$399K gets you a stacked house her in the dirty south!
