I did the same thing one year. I was about to go to Vegas but then I decided to go to the DR instead. I'm glad I did...I might even skip this year's convention and go to another country that I'm looking at.

I am going to check and see if I can do this... I definately totally 100% crossed vegas off my list this year, no way I was going to dump near $4000 for a few days of vegas at it's crowded, ugly worst. I stayed one year for the video show and Vegas totally sucked ass. Too many people, no parking at the hotel, long lineups for everything, and scads of CES geeks crowding up every strip club in town and basically wasting everyone's time.

Nope, no vegas for me.

I'll see if DR is a possiblity... who did you guys book with in Canada?

I think it's very sad that you guys won't be in 'Vegas. :( Makes the show a little less attractive. I was about to ask Belinda if she was interested in this DR trip when I noticed a post that changed my mind. Certain people just don't mix and I don't want to take away from any fun, know what I mean? Oh well.
