Central America is an ithmus. I believe that everything north of the panama canal is considered to be included in North America, and everything south of it is part of South America. Other geography nuts can confirm this or correct it if they like.

The US is big enough to offer a lot of variance, but prob overall - it ain't the cream for "lifestyle". The UK is a crammed up heavy industry - predicatable it comes in at 29th.

Wonder what basis "lifestyle" was valued on? There are a number of Centro American, Asian and South American countries which may have ranking for "lifestyle".

Not all, but a good number of folks who have ambitions of living in the US are from less well-off countries. The US is a paradise for em - it's a learned thing.

The flip side is.. more US people are getting the hell out and moving to countries where the US immigrants left. Kinda ironical! :winkwink:

Seriously though.. while Brazil has nice areas, beautiful beaches etc it still has one of the highest kinapping an murder rates in the world.. bad life expectancy, bad infant mortality etc. It's not just about one part of the country if you're wealthy enough to enjoy it.
