I have to say that this guy was nonstop ...he called 8 times a day ..would sit outside the office .. I spoke with him many times about backing off. The girl would answer the phones and make banners and stuff for us ...I had to answer the phones for over a week because she couldn't. That day I just walked in with coffee about 10am and was about to sit down ... ray said come out side and get my back on this ... I didn't even know why i was going out .. but when hell broke loose I told him to leave ..he said fuck you and got a beat down ..I didn't touch him ( I didn't have to ) but I was pissed that i just wanted my coffee and to wake up .but had to sit with detectives for 4 hours .. :disgust

A dark backalley would've been best. Dunno if I'd go yackin' about it all on a public message forum. But that's just me.

Gotta protect the ones ya' love and care for. My wife went through a stalker situation with her jackass of an ex-husband...so I know the routine. The justice system these days is an ineffectual farce. Sometimes ya' just gotta take matters into yer own hands.

Next time, leave the bat at home and do it barehanded...in the shadows.

Agreed, my aunt was involved in an accident in NY, because she was speeding away from a stalker, which led to her instantanious death. Police knew about him, she called them almost every day. They couldn't do anything. This was 25 years ago though. I think the laws are "getting better".

The suspect took off in a getaway car, which was reportedly being driven by another woman.
Police eventually caught up with the wounded suspect, but there was no sign of the driver.
As of this morning, the man who shot her has not been charged.
The girl is in the hospital and recovering.
Police are still looking for that other woman who they believe may be related to the teen.

You know what?s funny? So many GFYers loooove drama and love seeing people bite each others heads off in 7 page long threads even though NO action what so ever takes place after all the name calling.

Then you have someone like Ray, who tried numerous times to get the guy to back off and finally took action. He did what he felt he had to do and just told it the way it happened. Its too funny reading these responses flaming him for it.

For the record:

Laws are laws, and they are not there to be broken. We have rules in place to protect citizens according to societies standards.

However that being said, our current system is flawed, and in some situations you need to take the law into your own hands. So long as you don't get caught doing it I don't see a problem with it.

It takes guts and balls to do what you did so I'll give you that. But you got caught. Sure you got off, but you got lucky.

It's not lucky, how would you not get caught? Worst case scenario is he gets probation or a couple of months in jail for standing up for what he believes in. As long as he wasn't already in trouble with the law stomping a hole in an asshat is worth the punishment with or without connections.
