You might want to try JoeBucks. - they convert very well for us.

tristan_D 12-13-2005 06:15 PM

venting out company issues to the public is just against corporate ethics. that's a very unprofessional approach

evanmorgan 12-13-2005 06:19 PM

you shouldnt have to defend yourself on a message board, mensniche should never have been bitching about you after they had fired you.

They gave you a fake plane ticket, that must have been embarassing, what a bunch of pricks. I was on your side when i read the first mensniche release and im even more so now.

Now if that computer that you were typing to your wife on was paid for by you, Scott, then I think you've probably got some more ammunition in case you decide to seek legal action, but if that computer was paid for by MN, then I believe they are entitled to record and review any and all usage of that computer. If they did indeed pay for it, and you thought you had rights to privacy that you didn't, that is really more your naivete than anything else.

I certainly hope that both sides of this situation will take some time to stop and reflect on their actions, and consider the possible consequences both in terms of legal issues and in terms of how the "community" perceives the situation.

there is something to be said for trusting your employees tho, its not like they are a big company who cant keep track of there employees in more traditional ways. Plus, i think if they give you a computer for your house, then they would have to tell you, if they were planning on using it to spy on you

Fake plane tickets ? OUCH ...

FreakinWebmaster 12-13-2005 06:25 PM

what the fuck is with everyone wanting a sig spot? Is that all this board has turned into? Just post to make money off my sig?

Its no longer about posting actual business conversations?

Martin3 12-13-2005 06:25 PM

You handled that better then I would have. If some one sent me to an airport with a fake ticket they'd recieve a serious ass whopping afterwards.

But, I guess things are a little different at England airports then here in the states.
If you showed up at an airport here and presented a fake ticket, at the very minimum you'd probably get a full body cavity search from a couple 300lbs TSA agents with out lube. Then the FBI/CIA/ATF/FAM would all tag team your ass with 8 hour questioning sessions.

every logging of actions and/or communication without knowledge of the person in question over here is illegal and could not be used in lawsuits. no matter who bought the computer.

you have to tell the person that you are going to log his actions.

so he would have good chances winning a lawsuit here, cause what MN did (if they did it) would have been illegal.

cocksy 12-13-2005 06:28 PM

I wonder if MN will reply to this thread.

Also: are you planning on sueing them for the e-mail they sent out?

To me the email has done MN harm. I would not promote them or want to do anything with them for sending out that email.

It was unprofessional.

I do not care if you did anything or not. No firm should have done that. Its the sort of thing a 6 year old would do.

You basically just repeated what I said:

I must say Scott has always been able to help me increase my sales and I always have had respect for him, he knows what he is doing for sure! Scott is a straight up guy especially meeting him in person. Darren on the other had has insulted me on GFY in the past because I didn?t like certain ideas. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

All I can say is good luck Scott, you will be much better off!

Even though I believe both sides of the story are at fault, because of the way MN conducts business, I will be starting to remove my links.

SmokeyTheBear 12-13-2005 06:44 PM

i dont know of the private details of this case but in all fairness here's what most likely happened..

For whatever reason MN was unsatisfied with scott's performance, ( maybe even complaints about being blown off via icq ) so MN thought , maybe we should review his icq logs and see how he talks to affiliates/potential affiliates , and saw scott slamming them on icq ( not knowing who he is speaking to ). Thus they think he is hruting their rep.. bam your fired , and the rest is history..

mind you i dont know any of the details but...

SureFire 12-13-2005 07:00 PM

ScottMN,

Wishing you the best of luck.

Bogus tickets...MN has some explaining to do :(

toddler 12-13-2005 07:06 PM

If the company is based in the US(i have no idea if they are or not) they can do anything they want regarding the privacy of your communications on their network and machine(s). Outside the US, see your applicable laws.

I used to read other employee's mail for a living...:)

Just Mike 12-13-2005 07:09 PM

Sig placement

aico 12-13-2005 07:11 PM

Making fake plane tickets is a BIG no-no and you could get them in some serious Federal trouble if that is true.... hope you still got them.

BIG NO-NO....

Fucking HUGE mistake...

Yes, indeed, in the US there is an implicit acceptance of corporate monitoring when an employee uses company property...

but that's not my point.

My point is that neither Scott nor MensNiche need to have unnecessary drama on the board or in business.

Scott are you taking kickbacks now???

If so, send all of your affiliates to me
at http://www.joebucks.com/kb
I'll kick you down handsomely
and maybe we both can have a GREAT laugh over the entire experience-

Oh and don't forget the part about me telling you so

TheGoldenChild 12-13-2005 07:36 PM

Oh and KK while your post was very well thought out, and professional- it doesn't change the fact that Scott was working for ungrateful, little ASSHOLES.

As I did a year ago-
I was fortunate enough to cut my losses and go to a better Pill sponsor
http://www.joebucks.com/kb
and I am happy to say I got the last laugh, just like I know Scotty will-

Best of luck Scott- and if you still have my pics form last year, send them over
You know, the ones that Darren posted on the web of my huge cock?
:-))
Forget about all that
I want to hear more about the fake PLANE TICKET
:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

As for screenshots of the tickets, though I like the idea, I'm going to pass on posting them. it would just fan the flames.

And KB, you had to do the "i told you so" didn't you :)
