Another thing to think about:

If you would have spent 45k on two domain names . . . let's say, *************** and sweetass.com, you would have received at least 115,000 unique visitors last year.

The year after that you would get another 115,000 unique visitors to your site(s) plus any additional traffic you gathered (putting content with the domains). The year after that you would get another 115,000+ customers, and so on, and so on, forever.

And, as a "thank you" you get to keep the names forever and sell them when you retire, or let them keep on earning for you through your retirement.

Now how that is money well spent!

The thread title was supposed to be a take on the old 'my best friend went to disneyland and all they got me was this crummy tshirt' thang.

I was blown away they sent anything, let alone something that is actually kinda cool. I am far from one of their largest ad buyers...but come to think of it I HAVE been buying ads there for close to 3 years.

In any case, I'm very impressed.

Well, being as the gosh darn link has been broken for God knows how long, I can't really say...lol. similar Software pays 75% of the sale, which is usually anywhere between 15-45 bucks.

I remember that beach towel they sent out one year and a framed picture another year - but it was the same across the board to everyone that spent at least a certain amount - nothing else for the mill. spenders but still a nice token - some adult sponsors ought to take note (waiting for the first one to say - yeah then we'd have to lower payouts LOL)

Plus the best thing is that we have google and overture tracking. You add your google id/overture id to my program and when you have a sale you can see this at overture/google PER KEYWORD. This way you can filter out all bad keywords fast an easy and maximize your ROI.

40k is nothing. You know what sux? If you have a sponsors where you make over $500k a year at, and they don't even send you an xmas card. Only the managers call you to say happy xmas.

But then again, never make business decisions based on xmas presents.
