There is no way I would want to be on the roads tonight. It rarely rains in San Diego and it has been raining all afternoon. Since we do not get much rain here people forget how to drive when they see a raindrop. Drunks+wet roads no way!! If you can even score a cab it's usually at least a couple hours wait. Maybe I sound boring but It is such a nice feeling to know you are home safe with your family. :thumbsup

I'm with ya, rain in SD is hell. Its not like 'other' parts of the world that get lots of rain, so when it does happen the oil that is on the roads contributes in a baaad way.

Want a laugh?

Wow that CHP link is weird. I was looking at the accidents my area and it looks like it updates in real time cause I saw a couple new ones come in as I was on the page. It even gives all the details about the injuries kinda creepy! Makes me REALLY glad I'm at home now.

Stayed in the last 4 or 5 years and decided to go downtown tonight and watch the big show. Normally on New Years Eve it is freezing but tonight it was 50 degrees. Took my daughter on her first horse drawn carriage ride, toboganned down a huge snow chute at the baseball stadium with my son, had a great dinner, and found perfect seats for the fireworks show and was really blown away by it all. Glad I got out this year.

Family night, easy on the booze :) We stayed home. We've put a lot of work into making our house nicer this year and it was a good place to be.
