I've had many Camaros over the years, and I would love it if they brought it back with the resemblance of the first picture. However, GM seems to never make a production vehicle that looks anything like the prototype. Dodge has done a good job with it, though.
If the Camaro returns, which I hope it does, I would suspect it to look much tamer than any of these pics suggest. |
omg.i want that car.it looks great.

http://www.treasurebucks.com/pics/car1.jpg all OE.... except for the wheels and tires. Going to add some high performance brakes, tint the windows, and upgrade the stereo system with some bigger subs in the trunk and an ipod in-line connection, then im done. |
I like the kids drawing better too. Now Im not so sure if Im going to buy it. Thinking that it was the kids drawing that was the actual car I had my heart set on buying it when it comes out.

I'd rather push a Mercedes than drive a Chevy.

We need more threads about this.

That looks fucking sick - definitely on the want list.

http://adultlinkpost.com/formula3.jpg I was thinking about getting a new mustang, but glad I didn't. They are beautiful cars, but they are everywhere! I don't like having what everyone else has. |

I remember the last Camaros - Tanker bought one the same time I bought a Mustang GT. We paid roughly the same price and enjoyed the same performance. However, my Mustang came standard with a power windows, power locks, power seats, and a fucking trunk. What car company is gonna sell a car for $25k these days and not have power fucking locks or windows? No wonder the Camaro didn't sell. So now Ford has the new Mustang, which is a kick ass car. Not the most powerful or fastest by far, but the performance for the price is kick ass. The new Mustang is a throw back to the older Mustangs and are selling like pancakes. GM can't keep up. |
thats just wrong

Then again you drive a woman's car and are of course defensive about Mustangs. lol |
Americans know how to make a muscle car(where they had success long time ago) But is this what ppl want? Most techniques are old too btw, compared to Japanese and European brands...Ford, GM they all make big losses. No wonder why....
|
looking fucking awsome!

that car is rad

what US based site can I visit and browse american cars for specs and prices on used vehicles?
something similar do mobile.de or www.autoscout24.de and not like ebay with bids? I love the new mustang, but I see the big displacement engine as a downside, (currently I'm driving an Audi A4 and I'm satisfied with mpg and maintenance), I'd like to know what's the weakest engine in the newest mustang, and what's the price for a fully loaded one? (a 3.0liter audi engine has 220HP, while the new 4.0 mustang engine is ~205HP) |

There was a point in time when I was just happy to have a car, regardless of it's make, model or year.
America, at one point in time was the pinnacle of quality and engineering. Times have changed. The simple fact that there are still pushrod engines on the road is a joke. |

Truth is the LSx series is the most fuel efficient v8 on the market. 400hp 6.0l V8 that can get high 20's mpg...damn those pushrods :winkwink: Buy the time the new camero is out DOD will be on the LS2 and you'll see 30mpg on the highway. There's some better pics here http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2468 |

and of course we all love the new motors in the corvette and its "new" technology that Honda had on its K series motors in the accord with iVTEC for about 2 years before (adustable valve and cam timing in motion) and its dead valve (disables valves completely for fuel economy at low rpm and enables them at high rpm). If they keep knocking off tech that the japs use on small motors and Toyota never develops the V8 they used in the SC400 more for the new Supra (launching under another name other than supra whenever or if ever they do finally launch it) Chevy will continue to keep the top of the line as far as efficient V8. I am no domestic guy but aren't the new motors all OHC |
No Honda, no care...

If that's the case, I guess they stopped building them because men weren't buying them. As for the other comments on this thread talking about the Japanese cars.... I think the US auto makers were too set in their ways to compete on many levels and the US auto makers got their asses kicked. I also think that's changed. I've purchased five new Mustangs in ten years and not had a single problem, and the same with three Ford trucks during that same periord. I'm a happy customer. By the way, nudecanada, what do you drive? |
The front looks okay, but the sides are damn sexy
|
Richard...you know you couldn't hang with the Acura in Vegas!!
|
wow those are going to be sweet
|
whoa that is really hottt!!!
|
Wow! Love it ! Looks like they re-did the 1969 Camaro, my favorite year for that model.
Looking cool! |
