I had a similar issue with my climate control, a $5 blend door broke but because it was buried so deep within the dash it would have cost $500+ in labour to replace. I ended up trading the car before the weather got too cold. :winkwink:

It's covered under warranty as are the other two things that currently need to be worked on. I just haven't made the mindset to spend the day at the dealership yet. I miss my rice burners :(

I have enough to buy a new car, but right now I'm paying zero percent interest on it, getting 4% with the money sitting at Emmigrant and it's still under warranty. Makes no sense to toss it under those circumstances. When the warranty goes bye bye, so will the car. And I will buy another one under my steam. But thanks for the offer :)

Money talks, wealth whispers.

The big dogs don't have anything to prove (not that I'm one of em). It's like when you see Tom Cruise.

You don't need to see his bank account to know he's beyond rich.

But why? I would feel like a coward if I ever posted under a fake nick to say something that I didn't feel I could say under my real nick. Not trying to diss you at all btw....but IMHO, there's a difference between posting under a fake nick for fun (ie. Thomas Van de Koch or Anal Hobbitt) versus doing business under a fake nick).

btw...do you really live in Florida? what area?

Use this page to view Check Card holds associated with this account. Note: Purchases made on a Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday will have the date of the next business day. For more information on Check Card Holds see the Frequently Asked Questions below.

Check Card Holds:

* The Available Balance is the Posted Balance plus any transactions that have been authorized but not yet posted. See help for more details.

** The Posted Balance is the actual amount in your account and includes transactions that have cleared your checking account as of the close of the previous business day. See help for more details.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is a Check Card hold?
Why is my hold amount different from my actual purchase amount?
When will the actual purchase amount replace the hold amount and be deducted from my account?
I made a Check Card purchase yesterday. Why is the hold not displayed?
Why was the hold removed when the transaction did not post?
Why are there multiple holds for the same purchase?
What if I do not recognize a Check Card hold on my account?
Why is the date displayed different from the date I made the purchase?

What is a Check Card hold?
When you use your Check Card for a purchase and sign the receipt, the merchant will send your card number and purchase amount to the bank for an approval or authorization. This authorization generally confirms that an account is open and the purchase amount is available. The funds for the purchase are then placed on "hold", until the actual transaction is received by the bank or until three business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays) have passed and the hold expires. Note: If you use your Check Card for a purchase and enter your Personal Identification number (PIN) the transaction, once authorized, will appear on the "All Transaction" screen.

Why is my hold amount different from my actual purchase amount?
A hold may vary from the final purchase amount in situations where there is an estimated authorization amount or a tip is involved.

Ex: A number of restaurant merchants use terminals that automatically increase the authorization amount by up to 20% to include a tip; thus your purchase and hold amount may vary slightly.

When will the actual purchase amount replace the hold amount and be deducted from my account?
It may take several business days for the actual purchase transaction to replace the authorized transaction on your account. Generally, the final purchase is deducted from your account within three business days (Monday-Friday excluding holidays).

I made a Check Card purchase yesterday. Why is the hold not displayed?
Wachovia does not place a hold on the following types of purchases:
Pay at the Pump Gas Purchases (When Credit option is selected)
Travel Services (such as Airlines, Hotels/Resorts, Cruise Lines, Real Estate Agencies/Rentals, and transportation services)
Rentals (such as car, truck, motor home, and recreational vehicles)
Note: The authorization timing and amount can vary by merchant with online, phone and mail orders. Some merchants authorize the purchase upon receipt of the order while others authorize the purchase when the order is shipped. The purchase amount may also vary depending on the items ordered, what's available in stock and shipped, and any additional shipping cost and tax included.
