On our old website, we had a list of NATS features from NATS v1. I emailed Oystein about that when I set it up, asked him to get me a complete list so I can put it in there and people can really compare it, I also told him he can use our list on their site if they want, as long as they keep it up to date as we would keep theirs.

He was not interested in it, I only see one reason why that would be the case...

Alien,

Man, we went over that shit about pornograph back in the day when it happened. The data from everyone was inconclusive, John said he sold it, and I believe him.

I have no idea what your back round with John is, but mine go back to 98 when he would help a noob out in sextracker chat, and I never forgot.

The issue right now is NATS, not Pornograph, if Pornograph interests you, please start a new thread for him to comment in, as this thread has it's hands full already. Thanks.

Ya, would have been nice if you guys would have been like this when we tried to have NATS installed and running. What was it? 4-5 months and thousands spend and we never got the system working and it was for only one site? Sure you gave us back about half the cash we spent but that doesn't mean squat. Was a big waste of time. Even when we could get support to come and look at something they would fix it and never explain or tell us what the problem was, acted like we where bothing them. Sorry our program was small but if this is how your treating the little guys then I would n't want to do bussiness with you.

I know I have kept my mouth shut over this for a long time, but seeing you here touting how great you are while running down someone else really gets me. Let me tell you something. I own a product from Mansion, MAS. I have had it running for years with NO issues. The support has been nothing less than outstanding and they have even custom scripted the members area of the site and it worked the FIRST time.

I have ALL Icq logs, emails etc on this and you know I'm not making anything up here for false drama. In fact, we had such bad experiance trying to get your product installed that we have NOT moved fourth with ANY cascanding billing system. No one asked me to post here and this is all I have to say about it.

Yes, we refunded you when we probably shouldn't have.

You can't run a program by doing something half assed then waiting 3 weeks and doing nothing and complaining. Then being retaught, helped again, then doing nothing and waiting 3 weeks and complaining again. And again and agan. This wasn't my own expereince but also the same exact thing Gonzo told me (he was working with you on that project). We did refund you quite a lot of the money we paid you even tho we felt we shoudln't as everytime you asked we attempted to help you. Believe it or not it takes a bit of effort on your end to get things done also.

I agree, pissing matches suck. All we want with this offer is to let MPA3 customers actually really compare both products ON their own systems without any kind of obligation or money lost while doing so.

Hi Nathan,

Well that was a good idea and mabey you and mpa can get together and do this sometime, or mabey a 3rd party.

I like all you guys, we do alot of designs for people who run nats and mpa, also do alot of other biz with customers running mpa.

Laying the specs / facts out is always a good thing - competition is a great thing!!!

Peace

Todd

I fully agree Todd, and this is one of the main reasons we deceided to make this offer. How better to see what each product offers than by trying both?

1. Gonzo had the design done. Thats it. We wanted to put together a nice program together, but due to the Nats issues that didn't work out. As far as I know Gonzo never even did your training. I know he's happly running Nats now, and I wish him all the luck in his projects. He's a good guy and I won't sit hear and try to pass blame on him, he was not a part of the actual system.

2.I'm sure that I'm the only person that has had questions and problems in the beginning of learning a new script.

3. Ya, I was complaining, how long did we have that issue with the billing? how many emails where sent about it, 2 weeks worth, and it took him all of about 2 minutes to fix, course he NEVER told me what we had done wrong in the first place and acted like he was bothered to even talk to me. At that point, yes, I was a little pissed off. It was only after I threatened to just dump the whole project that I finally got and answer in the firstr place.

4. I'm not going to sit here and get into a pissing match with you over this. I took your training, installed your script and had it to the point where it was running in test mode with 3 proccessors, had it been for a little help with some simple finishing touches we would most likely be using it today. But as history shows this was not the case. I think you just had to many other programs being installed at one time to provide the type of support we should have gotten with a script of this size.

5. will I try again? Yes most likely, I never quit due to one failure. I will try with MP3.

MPA Never did.

Its these sort of things that made me wonder why NATS sites was so GLORIOUSLY successful.

two and two together kids.

As I said, I've run programs since 1997. I have no plans to stop. This is just one of the many things I've been hearing have been said which are totally absurd.

There was NEVER any back door in NATS to access anything.

My programs are less successful today then they were in the past as much of my time is taken up by NATS now. Again, I don't know how you would know my personal finances.

You're really approach the point of legal action now.

You will not be getting another post from me. If you hear from us it will be through legal channels.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-16-2006 01:53 PM

Legal action?

Bring it LOL! I beg for it. What I am saying is not false. Its all 100% true and there is not shit you can say or do otherwise that prove what I am saying is false.

I am looking here on how it went down on GFY regarding the porngraph heist. Hell I was active when that scam went down.

Next you are trying to tell me NATS never had core access to its clients?

HAha! OMG

Alien,

Your way off base man.. I like you and all but sometimes I don't know where your coming from.

Are we doing tit for tat here? If so let's all just say mabey both parties have made errors in the past.

John has said he wished he had of closed that site down before it was sold and look MPA apoligized more then once if memory serves me correctly for the Accidental shave or whatever you want to call it built in a previous version. We have all fucked up in the past....

Don't throw bricks through.....

this sounds like a a classic East coast / West coast rivalry

I say you settle it all with a tag team match at Phoenix Forum:
Garry & Oystein vs. John & Nathan

Team "Dirty Jersey" vs. "The LA Norwegians "

it would be quite a draw and get you both crazy publicity. we could all bet on the outcome here on GFY

Catalyst 01-16-2006 02:31 PM

I know.. this may be a little off topic.. but I know there are companies that will print checks from the quickbook reports from nats.. does anyone know of a couple of those companies..

Hi :) Just a heads up that it doesn't need to be quickbooks. You can have as many payout methods as you would like and each one has a fully customizable payout dump format. Quickbooks is simply the default format for checks. So if you find a 3rd party service who needs their own format to be used it is not a problem at all (mainstream companies such as ADP & Paychex may fit this situation).

I know Shane is working on a service, you can reach him on icq at 170-164-556.

wiggitywack 01-16-2006 02:35 PM

ahh come on dude, dodgeball is passé

I am sure Kimbo Slice could be the guest referee for the main event
We could dub it the first annual "tag team affiliate software championship"

AdultMegaCash 01-16-2006 03:11 PM

This has got to be one of the most interesting threads I have read in a long long time. I must say it's a very interesting way to do business.

I have used MPA3 for a long time, and must say the support there is better then anything I have ever come across. Plus, the way they are open to customize the littest things speaks volumes.

I know this is a competitive market, but I do know Oy and Garry personally, and I could never see them go to the level to almost attack the competition. Everyone is welcome to do it anyway they like, but something here rubs me the wrong way.

I've been trying to keep up with all this today as well, and correct me if I am wrong, but are some posts in this thread seeming to disappear or something.

I would also love for a NATS owner to contact me and convince me why I need them and not MPA3, this would be interesting to hear. 703 032

Carry on everyone.

And for those who are unsure what to use please check out mpa3.com

TMM_John 01-16-2006 03:13 PM

Adultmegacash. Thats exactly what we want. A comparison of the two. We are simply offering it for free. Then we get pounded by MPA guys and MPA clients crying about "attacking" and "stealing" etc. Not the point. But people seem to need to drag it there :(

TMM_John 01-16-2006 03:15 PM

Also, rather than have a NATS client contact you for the details, which I of course could put you in touch with if you'd like, we are offering you the chance to have the software installed, side by side with MPA, and we will train you on it, so you can compare the two of them yourself, side by side for 3 months and see for yourself. With no contract, no obligation and no cost.

JoeS 01-16-2006 03:20 PM

NATS,

Thank you for your offer to try your software for 3 months free! However, we would not switch from MPA3 if you gave us NATS for 30 months free. While I'm sure you have good software that its clear you are very proud of, we find the MPA3 software, it's support and the people in the company to be simply unreplaceable! I have been in this business since 1995 and the one thing I come to value more than ever is integrity and reliability and Mansion Productions has demonstrated both to me time and time again. So thank you for your offer but we will pass. I wish you success however as theres always room for everyone to do well if we work together in a positive manner.

Just saying this thread seems crazy to me, and I don't understand why it appears posts have just disappeared.

On a side note people using MPA will defend them, that's the nature of the beast. Just like I would assume NATS clients will defend you if needed.

I don't want to switch everything over, that would entail a huge amount of work, dealing with affiliates, join pages, the works. Not something I would want to get into as a trial.

What I asked was simple. NATS claims over and over they are far better then MPA3, now they are wanting me to switch. I would like someone from NATS to contact me and explain why it is better and what I would gain from making this switch.

And that's your choice. I've never said MPA3 is a BAD product. It has been other people in this thread that seem to want to put those words in my mouth. Our point is simply that we feel our product is superior and we'd like to offer everyone the opportunity to try something different for free and see what they prefer. If they choose to do so then they can. If they are happy with where they are at now and it is working for them and they can not see how things could be better then that is their choice.

You don't need to. You can run the software, we could import some or all of your data and you can play with it and explore it and see the differences first hand. You don't need to make the move for this offer. We just want you to be able to see first hand what it will allow you to do on your system with your data.

How would you like someone to contact you?

Thanks for the nice post Joe,

I'm happy for you that you are comfortable with MPA3 and see no reason to try anything else. This is more like a response I expected from MPA3 customers, and not the bashing that started the second we offered something for free.

Success to you too!

I honestly wonder what do you mean by more scalable?Mansion have a customer for example who increased its turonver 10 times(1000%) and turned from midisze to very large customer for just 1 year. And system grow with them. It is matter of knowlegde to be scalabe- at mansion there are employees with CISCO certificates,Sun Microsystems certificates,PhD degree in Computer Science...
Hard to image more scalabe products ;-)

So people that have a CISCO certificate or Sun Microsystems Certificate immediately means MPA3 is scalable without any issues?

I do not see how this connects. Sure, the guy with the PhD degree in Computer Science, you would expect him to know how to build a very good scalable system, but who knows?

Good that one of your customers grew so much, happy for him.

well, certificate/degrees does nto directly mean scalable solution. But this success story prooves that there is a relation. What I mean is that it more important to change and evovle on the fly with the customer instead of *just* having scalable design. They have 1000% increase of turnover which I belive can not be a better attestation for a software that came from mansion :-)This type of customers will not move to you even you pay THEM to use your sofware.......
