Hmm, I just noticed that this is the 3rd biggest thread on the first page (views), click it a bit more often, I want it to be #2 tomorrow morning :)
|
Fuck It...bump!
|
good thread, not sure why some people feel the need to jump all over this guy and act like pissants towards him. He took the time to write something with substance and even better decided to share it with people. How about for his next thread he just posts that chuck norris site AGAIN?

Very cool info and the reason I registered on this board. Never worked that end of the biz - i'm on the other (content creation), but I don't think I've ever read something as detailed about Gal Submittin'. Koo!
The reson for the reply... and hate to make a plug as my first post, but some complaints about overused content.. if you need fresh content I just put up an affiliate for sex dolls and a babe site that never been marketed. check my sig first line for affiliate. Oh and hello to all and thanks gfy! |

Bump for the weekend crew :)

Some great stuff in this thread. I wouldn't say you can make $XX a month, since everybody has a different experience. There are way too many factors to say any newb can make a set figure a month. :)
|
Thank you for your great tutorial
|
Just a small addition to the first step:
I would look for a niche that stands away from the crowd while looking at sponsors and alexa etc. Out of those 5000 submitters probably 70% of them are doing all reality and Teen submits with moms and lesbo running a tight second. You brought up an interesting stat that would be greatly affected by making a niche choice - the fact that the sale ratios on the galleries are so lackluster is explained pretty easily by the niche. While a sponsor can be underpromoted the niche can be way overpromoted and also affects your listing chances at many TGPs. Ive submitted some niches in the past that are almost always guaranteed to be listed and make fantastic sales, while others I see posting here wondering why they get 1:20k ratios and only listed 50% of the time. Just something to think about :) |
Sensational tute !
Thanks !! ;-) |
Very Nice tutorial, this should help alot of people that are starting gallery submissions.

You're right, I also do some consulting for paysite/program owners that want to submit galleries, or hire a gallery submitter, and during that it often occurs that sites that conveted well for me just don't convert for them (and the other way round). I guess it depends a lot how good a webmaster could "think into" a specific niche, and if he's not into it a bit himself he isn't able to promote it properly. |
Good read.

Good post hjnet. I like it when people on this board finally talk business.
|
Why the fuck does this thread keep appearing?
and why did you bump it evilclown??? |
Here's why:
Very few porn companies will offer an affiliate scheme 'per click-through'. Most will insist on a conversion (payment), for which you get a percentage. More often than not, there will also be a threshold you have to reach before they will bother to send you a cheque. If you don't reach this threshold, you don't get paid.
I'm here to tell you that you're not going to reach that threshold, and they don't care. Think of it as trying to keep a damp barbeque alight by throwing lit matches at it. A dozen or so matches aren't going to help at all, but once you start throwing hundreds or thousands of little flames at it, you have real bonfire going. That doesn't help you much, because you're just one match. You light up and burn yourself out - and for what? So a big company can make money from your efforts without having to pay you a cent. Doesn't make much sense, now does it? You might be asking how the large porn sites keep their affiliate activity going if this is the case. The answer is; hope springs eternal. Every day, thousands of people just like you finally reach that point where they think; "Hey, I know. I can make money selling porn!" Step forward sucker number 8,822,341. For every adult webmaster who fails, another signs up, ready and eager to take their place. Almost all fail but, funnily enough, not many of them like to talk about it. |
if i hate one thing out of the things i did/do in this biz, its gallery submitting.
