Don't want to contradict you - but if you're good at SEO and it's essentially a 'free listing' - you stand to make alot more via revshare.
Difference is the presentation - if you're promoting the 'low trial' it's not going to retain as well - if you're promoting the values of the site & the benefits of membership, it's different. Also, you have to have the patience to wait for the rebills to grow - if you're looking for fast cash (which is generally the case of the 'new guy in the industry'), this is not the option.

I've seen differences of up to 24% less on PPS as opposed to Revshare (had they chosen revshare) but these people work far more hours than 9-5 anywhere else & they are the exceptions of the industry. Very good exceptions I may add :)

My defenition of super rich is more then a couple million a a year, but i see what you are getting at.

Revshare may be good for free listings but hard for people who buy shitloads of traffic. Waiting months and months to make my profit back is out of the question.

Most definitely, but you aren't starving and struggling at that amount. Also, even if you do that with one sponsor and have a few other things going with others, it gets to be quite a nest if you can keep your lifestyle spending to a decent amount.

Exactly! If you're buying your traffic or doing PPC it becomes expensive and you need to have the bankroll and patience for it and most importantly, you need to know your traffic sources and know them well. Running tests can become expensive.

When I seen this I first thought what a idiot everyone knows revshare is always better in the long run then pps but then later on down the thread i see someone say they dont have time for rebills to roll in to take that profit they need the money now...So what is the real answer? I got rebills going on 2 years worth so nobody can tell me that $35 is better then $300 plus for 1 signup.

But in the case of SEO or ppc campains should a person use the pps method in that case?

Or does it depend on your bank account situation and if you can withstand the wait of the rebills?

BTW who is the biggest ppc campainer out there? I always thought it must be that napster-of-porn dude since i see those ads everywhere.

I have a new affiliate who is sending me type-in traffic. He switched from a PPS sponsor and makes now more $$$ per day. With revshare. And thats the first month, so no rebills yet.

Maybe revshare is not the best if you are investing heavily in paid traffic but then thats more of a question of cash flow. There are many guys with their own traffic that they dont have to pay for who can send that level of sales. What I do know is that 80% at my site is a $24 payout, factor in then that 35-40% of new members buy at least 1 item from the zipstore (which of course affiliates are credited for) and new signups rebill at around 40% too (which is top notch for a single girl site), means that each signup will effectively be worth $30+.
