You're just ignorant. There are rap songs from the early 90's that are still big. I mean its fucking pathetic how you cant see the picture. You dont like rap; NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU. The people that like it always will.
Hey, I'm just saying it shouldn't be on the Oscars... I mean, why should a bunch of talentless hacks that can't play ANY instruments be awarded for music?

Point is, these guys are just dudes that rhyme; no talent. When they pick up some instruments then maybe I'll have an ounce of respect for them. For now, I can strum a C Chord on a guitar, making me more musically talented.

you seriously cannot be this stupid, rap is growing in popularity not losing. its an entire culture tied into living.

look at basketball for example, hip hop is tied in, its not just going to fade away, whats gonna replace it? rock!? :1orglaugh thatd be the day,

i think you confused rock and rap.

lol @ this chrisanubis guy. calling rappers untalented for sampling old songs when the rappers aren't even the ones who usually produce their own beats in the first place. even the producers that sample old songs have more musical talent than you ever will and most rappers write lyrics that have 100 times more talent and creativity than anything your lame ass could ever come up with...

Anyone can rhyme words with itch, duck, chick, four, pass, fit, ect ect. Fact is, rappers are talentless hacks.

you must be referring to some simple ass retard rappers...

websiex 03-07-2006 04:41 PM

Here you go man, came up with this in 1 minute flat.. better than most I hear..

Rap is just a fucking : JOKE!
Burnin out faster than a fucking : SMOKE!
Pass that needle so I can: TOKE!
Rich like me, no you're just: BROKE!

Nigga got shit, niggas like: MOST!
Nigga got bread, I got : TOAST!
You at the bar, I'm at the: ROAST!
I got the ship you got the: BOAT!

Rap rap, rap rap, rap rap, rap rap
rap rap, rap rap, rap rap, rap rap
rap rap, rap rap, rap rap, rap rap

ect ect, can keep rhyming but I'd just be wasting my *talent* :1orglaugh

StickyGreen 03-07-2006 04:44 PM

excerpt from cam'rons new song...

them niggas pumpin' dimes
trunk pumpin' mine
i really make cake you can call me duncan hines
had a drunken mind
club wobbled out, next stop start trouble inside the waffle house

don't ever complain
over no dumb dame
see we big money i turn em to chump change
let my muscle show
cuz i'm like russel crowe
beautiful mind, took his bitch...hustle ho

now i'm not trying to say this is the tightest shit out or anything, but my point is rappers aren't on simple one word rhyme schemes anymore. i can find much better, this just happens to be the track i was listening to right now...

I don't know man, I like mine a little better... I personally wouldn't mention a waffle house in any song I wrote... or Russell Crowe... Your taste though man, I'm just not going to be calling it talent anytime soon.

well first of all he got in a scuffle at roscoes waffles place in la that's what he's talking about. second of all, it's not about cam'ron specifically, it's just an example that most tight rappers aren't rhyming simple ass one word lines ending with "toast" and "most."

i don't think you're getting the point. that's not "my style." that is cam'ron's style. i just used some of his lyrics to point out to you that a lot of tight rap coming out lately is not all simple like you seem to think...

It is one of the only rap songs I like, even though the music isn't originally Coolios.

its a form of art with more complexity in rhyme schemes then any other form of music - love songs etc.
i know i used to do a lil rapping back in the day.. heres my rhyme from one of my tracks i did with some fellas... mind those mind gobbling multies!

i crush mc's like tha title of tha track
n once u lyin on ya back u be cryin like a fag
cuz of me still kickin you cuz i am just a mad
muthafucker, explosive like fire with gas
so dont light a match by rhyming wack raps
or yo fuckin ass is gonna burn yourself to death
believe me bitch its gonna hurt like hell
cuz the only way i get competition's when i fight myself
...muthafucker, punk ass busters
gonna get fucked up when fuckin with the top
voice bonez and wouz, bitch, we rip shit up
r.i.p. fake fucks, u the first we hit up
i get rid of you quiker then u could figure
listen how i turn spitters into dickless quitters
cuz when i deliver shit, it'll hit the fan
it makes you run to mom to suck on her tits again

^^^^^i love it.. but the song was kinda fucked up by another one rapping not so nice on it.. might post a snippet when i feel like it so u can hear nico-t aka dj wouz rap :winkwink:

FALSE
DJ Paul And Juicy J are music producers who have been making beats for 13 years+

The real retards are the ones that put money into the pockets of those 'guys that cannot talk properly'.

how on earth am i talking like it is my own money? i am happy for anyone that makes it, you sound like a jealous hater. i am no way even comparing myself to them. can you please try and fucking read.

dollars talk, it doesnt matter what a bunch of middle aged fat white guys think of you.

ya the record labels are idiots, lets not do business with these guys who are making us millions of dollars just because certain people do not like the way they talk.

i think you're the retard.

Actually 33% of the USA listens to country. That's the same 33% we never see on TV. I don't know many of those people myself but then again I don't know many Nascar fans either and we both know how huge that is. Country and car racing aren't too popular here in the north.

StickyGreen, please don't ever quote Cam'ron as an example of complex rap lyrics. You will give people the wrong idea. :1orglaugh

Who says I don't like him? I actually like most of Dipset's stuff.

I'm just saying he has some of the most mindless rymes in the entire rap world. Everybody knows that. He's the only guy I can think of that will rhyme, "Dilly dally, she's a silly Sally. She let me go loosey goosey all up in her poosy woosy."

You know I'm telling the truth. He's not a credible rap lyric reference. He hasn't been since '99.
