very little... just resize, convert to b&w, and some minor lighting touchups... max a minute of PS spent on each photo

:thumbsup

Ah, of course! I forgot about that one. :upsidedow I generally avoid EF-S lenses because they're not compatible with full frame bodies...

Yeah, you have to remember that you are not Superman anymore and just because one day you feel better does not mean you can resume normality just yet.

But it sounds like you must be doing better. Call me and I will drive you around with the heated seats while I take you to shoot ;)

Gorgeous shots, especially the one that everyone likes (below). Surprised that they weren't shot in B&W, because they look like they were.

Exif info doesn't show the model number or lens type, so looks like it was a guess (or he knows what camera abyss_al has).

I did read the EXIF, but that doesn't tell you the lens. There's 3 Canon EF lenses that can sit at 17mm... and probably a few more from 3rd party manufacturers. :winkwink:

Are you a professional photographer already? You're shots are very impressive.

shooting digital, youre better off capturing in color and swaitching yourself in PS than relying on the on board camera... unless it was shot in film (which i still prefer), then i would use ilford in heartbeat :thumbsup

KCat 03-08-2006 03:25 AM

Great shots! I would love to do a shoot in sexy stockings or high heeled boots there.

what do they mean by professional? professional just means that you do photography for money... do they mean expert?

Photography is such a broad and complex subject, blending aspects of science and art into one. Attaining expertise is possible in small areas, but it is difficult to call any photographer an expert in the entire field.

i'm still learning... and probably will for rest of my life...

there's a point where technical knowledge of lighting and equipment stops and talent comes in, and in my opinion a true 'photographer' has to have the talent or 'the eye' to see what people dont. you can take an amazing photo with the perfect light, but if the overall image 'finished product' is boring and has no feeling, expression, etc then its useless. you can spend all the time you want on photoshop and make is all pretty but its still overall "just another pic"

Actually Canon does embed extra proprietary stuff like the model, body serial number and photographer's name into the EXIF data... you may not see it with a generic EXIF viewer but Canon's utils show it. :)

Wow, I remember a movie I saw not too long ago (I'm sure there are SO many using that area), but that second picture I remember being in the movie...I THINK it was that movie where the teacher goes to the ghetto to sub and winds up uncovering some big drug deal where the principle was involved? Anyone know which movie I'm talking about?
