Trying to protect a brand name by picking on a little guy with a website nobody would have heard of if it weren't for the limited press it's gotten? It may not dent their sales but their lawyers sure make Toyota look like assholes.

Just feel like correcting you DH. In Canada, it wouldn't be a problem. A trademarked word is only exclusive to the industry that it's in.

We got that same letter because we were silly enough to register LexusXXX.com. We shot a girl named Lexus (she even has it tattooed on her butt). see pic below.

After talking to Toyota, we changed the site to www.4RealTeen.com because we didn't want to fight them. (They have more time and money. lol)

Why is fighting Toyota harder than any other court case? This type of case is pretty much a set cost. And Toyota has no grounds with this case, they would probably settle if a real fight was started.

LexusCash is in the right, they are not using the Lexus Brand, they aren't in the same business, and no reasonable person would confuse the two.

I'm sure any dumbass would know this though.
