This is a funny thread... and if I never have to hear the word "cancelled" again for as long as I live, i'll die a very happy man.

However... it bugs me to hear that everything was "cancelled"... it might have seemed at first that every event was cancelled... but this rumor was really without merit...

- White trash basketball (event changed name, venue and activity but it wasn't outright cancelled)
- Corridor cruisin (venue moved inside... wasn't cancelled... and was still a huge success and turnout)
- Porn poker tour (this was the only cancelled event due to the hotel... Epoch stepped up and hosted cocktails and appetizers in it's place)
- NichePay volleyball (happened as planned)
- Players Ball (changed venues and theme but was not cancelled... special thanks to D$, Cole and XVN to rallying to make this happen)
- Webcamcash USS Midway tour (happened as planned)

6 parties / events planned over the 3 1/2 day period in advance... 6 events happened... no net loss... henceforth everything wasn't cancelled.

I hope that everyone did some good business, and retained their sense of humor. It has been a very bad time for all involved in the putting on the show. We did everything humanly possible to put on the same show we always do. The sponsors will never know how very much we appreciated their support.

There is only so much we can say without attorney approval. It is not close to being over for us. But I will say that we received a letter of cancellation from the new ownership at a very late date and had to 'go to the mat to perserve the show. IT WAS MUCH TOO LATE TO CANCEL. We have been continually harrassed, and put through a lot of mental hell. We have spent much more than the show made, and have taken risks that are very scarey. Ynot hung in there with us, knowing that they may never receive one penny for all Jay's efforts. But, there is just NO WAY the show was not going to happen. People gave us their money and trust. I have fought a lot of battles over the years for my credability, but this one was definiately the most costly. As an industry, we just cannot bend over and take whatever people decide to throw at us, on a whim. I just will not stand for it. You sometimes have to take a stand, and do 'whatever it takes! We cannot let ourselves be treated like second class citizens, with no repisals. There are legal remidies - they are just costly, frustrating, and SLOW.

I'm Glad to hear that it went fine finally beside some "obstacles"

I also know very well how much hotels can be a pain in the.... neck, when it comes to have an adult show in their establishment... They want the money but not the "troubles" or "image" that comes with hosting an adult event, even if this is a private one...

Congrats guys :thumbsup

:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh Too funny! We're still using the "No Defecation" as an inside joke. "You know those people in the adult business and their pooping..." :1orglaugh

It got off to a bumpy start but, I still got business done, I still had fun, and my boyz won the volleyball tourney! ;)
Thanks to Fay, LAJ and Dave for fighting and keeping it going for us. Hopefully the hotel is sitting asking themselves why the hell they hired a million security guards to keep an eye on us.

This is a funny thread but you know this ended up being an amazing show.

- Jay you somehow pulled it off without looking totally stressed out.
- Conner, Twinkley, Darklady, Tucker etc... Good food, good wine..great time
- Doug, Kacy, Frank, Mitch it was great catching up and look forward to the future "things"
- The entire FSC group..thank you for the support at the seminar! We are looking forward to working with you.
- Steve & Shannon it was great to finally sit, relax and chat. Brandi sends hugs...and an email :winkwink:
- Mark look forward to swapping some more Michigan stories and doing some business.
- Hal, as always just a pleasure!
- Dan, you have no idea how much your participation in the seminar was appreciated. Please give our best to your better and better looking half :upsidedow
- Aly, darling, next time we'll all get some sleep before we go out:thumbsup

Honestly, I think this is the first show I have ever come back from feeling relaxed and ready for the long work days. My hats off to those who put the show together. We got a lot of business done, caught up with old friends , made new ones and came home relaxed and refreshed!
