Why is a contract needed for accounting? Invoices work fine.

In a business that is so dependent on word-of-mouth deals, I'm kind of surprised so many of you are demanding a contract or written agreement. I've never signed either.

In Canada a verbal agreement is binding. Granted you're both American but what I am saying is a persons WORD should be important.

I recall a time when Jack asked me if I didn't like him, claiming I didn?t give him friendly vibes. To be honest, I had a bad feeling about the guy, however made an effort to be nice to him out of professionalism (both on and off the boards).

However, the guys at Dating Gold and AFF are nothing less than good people. I have done good, as well as substantial, business with both of them.

Jack, you should reassess your stance with both entities in my opinion.

Well all i can say is 2hp has always been a stand-up guy towards me. The one time i did loan him money i was paid back, though it was nothing near
1.5k. I just have a feeling that something is being left out of the story here on either side.

If what you are saying is true, that you guys made a verbal agreement and now he refuses to pay because you can't proove that the deal was actually made, then i am saddened by this, i just find it hard to believe.

It's kind hard to sue over $1500 or rather pointless. It's not really worth my time to be honest. However I would like others to be forwarned. Also it's amazing the people that come forward to tell us how he has ripped them. Unlike us they are too scared to call him on it, don't know why. AFF is in quiet mode right now cause they are in the middle of a lawsuit.

I've been ripped off before - iBill owes me well over $20,000. You don't see me whining about it incessantly, even though I am just a one person operation.

I re-built my operation and focused on that, and not the money owed to me which I will not likely be able to recover even through the courts. The result is I am making more money than before.
