Give up, you weren't meant to drive

I think theory was the worst thing
for me. Driving is the "easy" part.

But we are all different. :)

Ivana Fukalot 08-10-2006 06:21 AM

Its not so bad. In Russia its difficult to pass driver's exam too. Maybe you need more practise? Good luck next time.

Holly 08-10-2006 07:03 AM

Don't you have a girlfriend, sister, or some other female that could give you lessons?

The females in my family are not the best of drivers to say the least. Anyway, we have driving instructors for this.

And you get cheaper car insurance too.

It's because women don't take risks - which in my eyes, is a bad thing.

You're right. Not being risky enough while operating an automobile is pure stupidity.

The schools started here today. When they dismiss this afternoon, I'm going to the elementary school and do 80 mph through the crosswalk just to show those little fuckers who's large and in charge. I'll let you know how it goes. :Graucho

Ouch! Yeah, I've heard European driving exams are a bitch. That's probably a really good thing though; at least you guys don't have as many morons behind the wheel over there as we do here. :1orglaugh :thumbsup :Oh crap

he wasnt talkin bout that - risk isnt the right word, its taking the right decision.

Ive seen it when I got my bike license, girls who wait - let a car pass - wait - let a car pass - wait... and then a horrible situation evolves where ppl start getting impatient and pass you on the left side right side cause you dont have the guts to open that throttle and move into the queue

risks are never good obviously

I'm tempted to start a new thread declaring women superior drivers, but I don't want to listen to 90% of the board cuss me. :1orglaugh

And for the record, every time I've been in Europe, the driving really was intense and border line insane (in the major areas). It stressed me out just riding in a car in most of the larger cities. It was like a free-for-all, with no rules or boundaries. I definitely wouldn't like to drive like that every day.

Gunni 08-10-2006 08:28 AM

fokking loser

99% is ok, borderline insane happens if you try to drive on the Champs in Paris or uphill takeover in Greece. If youre gonna go to these places with US driving experience its gonna be hell and back yes.

That was the main place I was talking about, lol. Especially around the Arc. The person who was driving lived there and drove in it every day and was used to it, but I was freaking out. I was on the passenger's side, so of course all the merging in, 6 inches from my door, was not my idea of a good time.

Nothing but horn blowing, cussing, screaming and utter chaos. I kept yelling, "Are there NO traffic rules, lanes, or laws here!!" :1orglaugh I would never drive there.

I know what you mean, we were there a few years ago as well. Try crossing from the Arc to the Champs as pedestrian, we ran like crazy LMAO pure hell.

Yup the Arc is hell.

Been there many times, its

look - pedal down - pray

thats why you see 2 days old cars with bumps in Paris. Thats how they drive.
