Sorry Serge, could not resist :winkwink: |
rick rude and mr perfect were at the top back in the day, and everyone hated them. but it was great. too bad they both are gone now.
the way they ran shit in and out of the ring with their drama and characters was great. |

I recently picked up the 21-DVD Wrestlemania set....
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B0...132009425_.jpg So far seen Wrestlemania 1, 2, 6, 13 and 14. (out fo order because my girlfriend doesn't like the older ones, and Jeff and I saw 6 to see the warrior the other night!) Randy Savage was my first favorite wrestler though around the time of Wrestlemania 4/5 My favorite angle though was Ultimate Warrior/Papa Shango in a voodoo feud that was damn entertaining :thumbsup |
I'm more of an ECW kind of a guy... I regret never being able to go and see the live show at their little "arena"... those things were so off the hook!

Hulk Hogan: http://sportsmedia.ign.com/sports/im...1022156947.jpg -and- Andre the Giant (anybody want a peanut?): http://informationcentral0.tripod.co...ures/andre.jpg The most memorable match, for me, was King Kong Bundy and Hulk Hogan in the iron cage: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...nbundycage.jpg |
Bob Backlund

My time was like between Wrestlemania VIII and Wrestlemania X. I really liked the open air one, I think that was IX! Some of my favourites: Papa Shango Adam Bomb (does anyone remember that guy?) Tatanka Doink (when he was still bad) Headshrinkers And so many others I can't remember atm. The good old golden days of Wrestling :pimp |
