To be honest, - image shooting in the adult biz is .... whatever a buyer wants it to be. Being in possession of a 12 Mpix camera is not a qualification - same as the lower end rez. There are markets for low end imaging - basically ideal for certain niches - ie "amateur" as well as the other extreme. It's all relative - the rest is bullshit.

I've never done a shoot in... over 20 years - got better shit to do, - and don't care about the boasting on this thread. Nothing could matter less.

What I am familiar with is knowing what I want from a shooter and getting that right - don't give a shit how long it takes. The layup of their images and the end result costs far more than any shooter fees ever will be. Only my :2 cents:, but only work with 3 shooters and this has been the same folks for over 20 years. They are all good and know exactly what is wanted without hassle - and they all bring their contribution/style to shoots.

OK.. To be fair - I'm not a shooter (tho sometimes wish I had the time) - tho was "trained" in photography/movie production/editing and still involved in a model agency and studio which is busy five days/week (but not necessarily on our own stuff).

BTW.. The dollar value of a camera and perceived photographic masterpieces are rarely in sync.

Dont come on Gfy and brag about a 1400.00 camera you dont have and try to put down people who actually do shoot for a living and know their trade.
