The World has changed vastly in even just the last twenty years. As an American you have to be willing to see Iraq through. This may well look like another Vietnam to many people but if we pull out, essentially in that last 40 years, we have conceded (lost) two wars. Perhaps we should not have gone over there and let the hate towards America build until we were attacked again. Since 9/11 how many successful attacks have there been on US soil? I would ask you to bare that into consideration. Yes, i will agree on cuba and venezuala but should they lauch a missile (cuba does not have one) it would be shot down and then as a country they would be screwed. Columbia as a govt is on our side.
