The original Hummers where solid / Invinciable. When they started to mass market them and make them mainstream they degraded. The US military put some regulations on build and supply.
They didn't want the mainstream population driving around in small tanks. If your looking for safety buy a decommissioned military Hum v at an auction, or an Older model.

that's fucked up :(

-you can't say "i'd rather be in a s500," because they are in complete different classes... you can't take an s500 4x4'ing... and it's double the price...

complete different style of vehicle...

i wouldn't trade mine in for anything... i have a blast taking my h2 truck the the limit and seeing what it's capable of doing... the fun i have alone is well worth the 10 mpg i get with it.

it all comes down to what you need the car for... people who get an suv for show and cannot handle a vehicle of that size and mass should think twice :)

Everyone with any brains know that the H2 is for white tie pretty boys
I saw once where an H2 lost to a 1500 pickup truck

Metal is metal. If the force is strong enough it's a goner.

I saw that ages ago on Fifth Gear (a program about motoring in the UK). The bit that link chopped off was the fact that the occupants would have died anyway, as regardless of what you are in, when your body goes from 70 to 0 in less than a second, your organs physically move and begin to rupture.

Pete-KT 09-05-2006 08:38 AM

a H2 is a tahoo with a hummer body which means its of no use and not invisable, now if that was a H1 you would barely see any damage to it

nAtuRaLbEautY 09-05-2006 10:12 PM

that's a pretty bad sight
