Ya I do too, it's just that you hear so much about UFC because there's the UF show now and it seems to be getting a lot bigger in USA now. About 3 years ago Chuck Liddell went over to Pride FC and got his ass handed to him. Chuck is better now but I doubt he could beat Pride's top LHWs. It sure would be fun to watch though!

Oh and UFC's heavyweights are a joke compared to Pride's. Fedor, CroCop, Mark Hunt, and more of Pride's heavyweights would destroy UFC's Tim Sylvia or Andrei Arlovski.

Both can be really brutal/bloody just watch Yves Edwards last fight or even this UF season 4 show 2 (Gideon Ray vs Edwin Dewees). Or Prides last OWGP was fucking awesome and brutal!

I pay too much for my cable every month just to get the Fight Channel cause Pride is on all the time. Love it !:winkwink:

Blah Chuck was fighting agaisn't rampage who at that time was prolly the best fighter in pride... Silva really fucked him up thought (rampage)

Plain and simpy BJ gassed out A by waisting a lot of energy to def against the take down.. B trying to arm bar and triangle hughes. (which he almost accomplished)

Penn actually seperated some ribs during the end of the 2nd round. Stuffing a shoot actually doens't take as much energy as trying to get the shoot. Matt expended more energy.

Baby Jay is a warrior, but he's gassed out in alot of fights.

It's said the best finishing hold is "Conditioning".

Matt Hughes had it, and won a fight that was all BJ in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

The next fight I won't miss for sure...Its Rich Franklin vs. Anderson Silva.

DAMN! BJ Should have won that fight! He had Hughes during the first 2 rounds. The 3rd round he just looked like he had no energy left, Hughes got down on the ground, locked up his arms, and it was over...

Hughes is simply a cardio machine. Yea BJ dominated both rounds which spent all his energy :(

What is it about BJ that doesn't impress me? he looks like an average joe maybe thats it.

BJ Penn can put his foot behind his head without the use of his arms. He got his BJJ Blackbelt in 3 years when the norm is 7 to 10.

He owned Hughes in the first 2 rounds, it's a shame about his rib, and his gas tank being empty.
