I'm in. Allready started couple of months ago to work out regulerly and changed diet.

I'm about 6'2.5" and weigh around 144.6lbs as of this morning, think I could stand losing a few more pounds...
My actual goal weight is around 180lbs yuup, good luck to you guys though. Like someone else said eating 6 times a day is the best way to lose weight it kicks your metabolism back into gear making your body burn fat for you even when you're just sitting around, then when you go to work out it works much better than a sluggish metabolism that barely burns for you. |

Today i break records-two hours i was been in gym and then 2 hours drive with bycicle.Now i was eated ton of meat and drink three beers hehe

For the past couple of months I've been losing weight. I started around 225 and am only down to 210, but I havent really changed eating habits, just added walking and some aeorobics and a little weight lifting. Nothing requiring anything but a dumb bell really. I also write down every food I eat every day, plus what I did for exercise, and that days weight and girth (I've lost a few inches as well).
I'll keep going and I'm sure I'll keep slimming down, but as I said I havent gone on a "diet", just added some needed movement to my day basically. |
I've lost a pretty good amount of weight in the past year, couple things I changed:
1. Diet, Cardio, Weights. You need to do ALL three to achieve healthy weight loss. Diet - Eat five smaller meals a day instead of three big ones. Someone once told me to treat your body/metabolism like a fire. If you continually add small logs to it it'll keep on burning. If you unload a big stack of logs the fire will burn out. You can also eat anything you want, if you're willing to make up for the calorie intake. Take a walk or something after a big meal. For a while I was counting the calories I was taking in and how many calories I was burning by exercising. It's a GREAT way to see how much you usuallyu eat in a day, and give you a better idea on how much you need to work out or how you need to change around what you eat during the day. http://www.calorie-count.com is a great site to see how many calories are in the foods you eat. Cardio and Weights- Since I *and i'm sure most of us* sit on our asses all day, I forget how much I lose by not doing the usual running around a normal job would have. I force myself to go to the gym almost every day. At this point, I go six days a week. Three days of cardio, and three days of circuit training *weights*. Now, I understand there's no way to go from not doing anything to being a gym rat, but start small. You should be doing at least 3 days a week of cardio activity, even if it's just walking. Weight training is just as important though, especially if you're losing a lot of weight. Cardio burns the fat, and weights help you tone up so you don't end up being some flabby skin monster. heh. I'm no expert, but i'm just telling what i've been doing, and I can honestly say it works! :) |

Net weight: 96 kg (211 lbs) Waist: 100 cm (39") Calories taken today: ~1600 Exercise: a 1 hour walk Hungry as fuck right now :( |

I'm in. After my huge weight loss: 310 down to 205 last 2 years I have gone back up to 220. I need to drop 30 fast.

right now i am working out again for the 4th week. starting to see some strength come back and feeling better everyday. diet is not completely under control (er... its actually 100% out of control) but i am starting to rein everything in and get back on track. by december i want to be squatting 500 (deep) and dead lifting 600 again. not sure how much fat i can lose because eating for mass doesn't really jive with eating to lose fat, but i can lose quite a bit and achieve my goals. this will be an useful tool to hold me accountable. :) |
