From near as I can tell and from what I've been reading on several SEO boards, for newer sites (or "untrusted" sites) Google is very unstable ATM. Dumping pages into supplemental and deindexing. I've got mainstream and adult sites going up and down the same way recently.

But when I first had it up for the first month, things were going well. none of them dropped they just kept on rising....

googles a terrible se in some respects, ironic that its also the most popular!

hang in there scottybuzz.. some of my pages are doing weird things at the moment, dont be tempted to start making changes to the pages, this can just complicate things until google settles down..

Always interesting how few know what the 'sandbox' actually refers to and just chuck the term around as if the have a clue about SEO :2 cents:

Sorry to say I got other things to do as to go into it properly would take time and I have no reason to want to do so. Just made a couple of posts waiting for an upload but as a rule I keep quiet on SEO for two reasons. Firstly too many idiots believe everything they read and will argue with you on silly points. Secondly were I going to give SEO advice I'd be charging for it.

Needless to say it's an urban myth that's in reality just a collection of other stuff causing a 'sanbox effect' rather than an entity in its own right. To get a batter idea of what people believe it to be pop over to seochat or somewhere similar and do some reading. The posts in this thread have even missed the mark on what many believe it to be let alone what it actually is.

Back to work for me.

Google is weird... roll with the punches, Scotty.

They appear to be applying and removing a spam filter. Right now I see very spammy sites and beastility/rape sites showing up in some search terms where you usually don't. This may go back and fourth for a bit longer, and then stabilize at some point with less top level domains and spammy ones showing up. (Though I am no expert and that's just my observation) Good luck to you man.

Thanks all. just wait... *sigh*
