You missed the posts where he was running around trying to say how low the percentage was of people with Zango, trying to imply it wasn't really effecting anyone.. He wants us to think it's a non-issue but if it truly was a non-issue they wouldn't be buying the ad spots. What a fucking moron.

I mentioned this to lars several times. He said a lawsuit would be too expensive and not worth it. He has the legal means to stop zango from doing this. But obviously he does not want to stop.

It's because Lars is full of shit.. Yea really think if is was some chump change amount he would want to take this much flack? Besides that we just know about zango, but what other places like this might he be buying traffic that's doing the same thing?

I'm sure it's pretty damn profitable for him to buy traffic from zango and others like it vs paying out the sales to the affiliates whom actually sent the traffic.

But it's all good just do a big payout weekend, give away a laptop or two and sponsor a party and he's all good. He'll be a stand up guy again in no time.

Then to get shocked when some skimming might occur. I think for everything to be 100% on the up and up. You would have to be willing to do your own hosting and making $15 a sale recurring.

I've never been to a sponsor party and don't ever plan to go to any. I could care less about high payouts but rather high conversions. I've also never used free hosting from any affiliate program.

I take care of myself and don't expect anyone else to do anything for me. What I do expect is legit programs to send my traffic to, that actually convert.

my honest guess is that they could lose all their affiliate traffic and barely notice it. they dont give a fuck whether everybody is pissed, they just dont want slashdot coverage.

I think you are being naive - it would be too expensive to justify the time and expense. You must be aware that something like this would carry on for months or even years and cost a fortune (remember zango are not some back room operation either).

As I said before why the fuck should Lars be the one to carry the burden of this, because he is the only one to come on GFY and talk about it?

As I said, you are naive - and a little bit full of yourself - if you think it would be a prudent business decision for Lars to spend millions and suffer through a lawsuit.

there is no excuse for stealing from affiliates. period. there just isn't. there is not one person here who would go to parties, accept higher payouts etc etc etc if they knew with 100% certainty that it was being paid for with joins that are stolen from them. and i dont recall ANYONE begging for 105.00 payouts.

as you can see... when given the choice of 105.00 payouts and being stolen from ... or simply going somewhere else... many are quite willing to go somewhere else. its about fucking time.

i mean really?!?!?! what the fuck? i can't believe someone gets busted robbing affiliates and then basically says "yeah.. so what?" as a defense. thats fucking insanity and totally sums up this business and the people in it. then his employees chime in with more dumb remarks... showing a complete and total lack of concern on any level at all for how people feel about the situation.

and most of you fucking clowns can't figure out why senators and congressmen are calling you scammers, thieves, liars and exploiters of under age kids? take a look around you. take a look at what you accept as defensible behavior.

All I said is to be surprised when it happens when most want the big numbers that are thrown around is crazy. Also free hosting must be a big deal because if it wasnt it wouldnt be offered. Im not saying its right and I dont agree with it but 30 bucks a sign up can only go so far around.

I never said it was right,the pressure to offer bigger and bigger numbers had to come from somewhere. The current system feeds this behavior. Its sad.

I get stolen from already , not traffic but fucking password trading sites and I see major sponsors fucking ads all over the sites. Torrid sites that have full fucking movies. I know what the feeling is like. No one gives a shit and they never will. Sorry but most of the ultra successful are sharks.

I know it can be done, getting it done is the difficult part. I'm doing my part by banning all aff/cams etc. galleries promotions etc. from my sites etc. I used to get really worked up about these sorts of things as well. Now I get worked up "just enough".. but doing nothing will only ensure that it continues.

Most affiliates don't even go to the parties muchless give a shit about them. Most people do not care about any of the shit you mentioned, the ones that do care are the ones that aren't making any money anyway.
