Skip the name-calling. Do they owe you money? Did they drop you because you couldn't keep up with production while going through a personal hardship?
The rant came on so strong that it is hard to understand what the specifics are that motivated it.
As for the move-to-California issue, I've been in business many, many years, and things like that happen unintentionally if sudden shifts in a business occur that were unanticipated when negotiations began. What was the explanation ICS provided?

Actually No explanation was provided. The Brunt of it started when Lens was frustrated with how good our production value was, but how bad the model pool is in South Florida. "We need to get you out here, he said." Months went by, and one day he called us. "Find a house in SO Cal., I'm moving you out here! Write me a financial proposal and I'll get the ball rolling." So we did. We packed as requested ready to jump at his beck and call. Once we sent the proposal, we waited a week to find out he was on a Cruise in Alaska...
No worries, but our issue was that out principal videographer had to make a choice about his sons schooling as it was a few weeks before matriculation.
We put the pressure on Spannow to talk to lens, but he was afraid of losing his job. (direct Quote) Finally, 2 days before Matriculation of school joe Lackey writes... Everything's a go, except the $. So of course as in proper business practices we renegotiated our amount.
We waited patiently for months, ready at a moments notice for a go.... Nothing, Finally I called to his direct extention #222. He said, "oh yeah, I decided against it." NO reasons, no sorry. No I didn't mean to shine you on. Afterwhich we still continued to provide Excellent Service to ICS.
I was getting on in years and wanted a child of my own. So I did the whole getting pregnant deal, and the Baby was a still born with Hydrocephallys. Funeral proceedings took place, and we wrote to spannow re: 2 pieces of content that would be late due to this tragedy....
Spannow replied, Joe would like his check back, if you can't shoot. Not, I'm sorry for your loss, nothing.... Death Certificate, photos, and med reports were provided to Joe with a Nasty letter relating my displeasure in the apathy shown to my situation. ESPECIALLY when I ALWAYS had to be SPANNOWS personal Psychologist and shoulder to cry on!!!
Needless to say this left a foul taste in our mouth!!! We decided to out ourselves out of the industry because this was the last draw for us with people of this Ilk. And for thier Bull Shit and Trouble we've retained the funds until LENS comes forward with an explanation to his cowardess...
To date nothing has transpired... SPANNOW said JOE made this offer to someone else to whom he kissed their ass, and they turned him down. Hence it's obvious Joe has no judgement of character...
