I too have a rather disturbing pic I was thinking of posting. Now that nofx has opened the door, well, I think now is the time to post it. I feel that pics like these aren't to be posted for humor but to show people what can happen if you aren't careful.

NOFX, there is no lesson to be learned from your style of insensitive posting on this board of gross images of death and mayhem, except that you are attention deprived and perhaps a little out of whack in the mental department.

I had a roommate in the Navy who was a Corpsman (kind of like a nurse in the civilian world). As a result of having to pick up the pieces of some of our friends that died in a plane crash, he became an insomniac, afraid to sleep.

When he could sleep, it was out of sheer exhaustion, and he would fall asleep standing or wherever he was at. Once he did fall asleep, this was usually followed by grinding teeth and chilling screams.

The Navy gave him a General Discharge. A few years later he committed suicide.

That is reality, and something I do not find funny at all. Perhaps my words will fall on deaf ears, but if you find scenes of death amusing, then you should probably seek out psychiatric help.

To the board mods, I would suggest that you ban such pictures in the future. There are boards like Ogrish that the morbid can visit to satisfy their peversions.

I definitely saw my share of gross scenes in my 15 year career as a hospital health care worker to last a lifetime.

But I choose to simply not click on or view certain things I know I will find distasteful or I'm not in the mood to look at.


And, I apologize to anyone who found my horrible donut guts pic distasteful. I had to share it though,.... had to.

Its called freedom of expression, Not every one was brought up wrapped in cotton wool so fucking deal with it there is nothing wrong with posting an image of someone dead no one told you to open nofx's thread infact he prewarned everyone in the title if you don't like it there is a button at the front of your computer you can press at anytime (I suggest now).

i compare something like that to the food industry

most people these days couldnt kill a chicken bare hands or with a knife.
yet they are more than happy to eat it.

all the killing is done behind scenes at the supermarket factory, everybody has closed eyes and life moves on.

crashes happen, and they will look alot worse than that. they should make drunk drivers see pictures like that.

i think that picture has 100x more right to be on the internet than say for example ******* or lemonparty.org

L-Pink, I think you are going a little overboard from it. Not that the image is disgusting or that it has no business on an adult webmaster board, but because there are guys like that on every board. There are people who need to look cool, get attention, or whatever else doing that fulfills in their life. Just close it, put them on ignore, or skip their threads in the future. I doubt you've ever seen him post anything business related, so I'm not sure why you'd be surprised by that thread.

At the end of the day... if you come on GFY you gotta expect some people to post up shit like that...

I admit that in highschool I used to click through gore-gallery and other sick-out sites with content like this, then i flipped my truck end over end 4 times on a gravel road, with me and two friends in it. i was knocked out when my head bounced off the cab, when i snapped back to i was covered in blood, the entire cab of my truck was splattered red, one friend was knocked out, his face smashed into the windshield. my other friend was already crfawling out the passenger side. I can close my eyes and picture the entire scene to a t, it was disgusting. Luckily we all walked away. I know alot of people who weren't so lucky, and alot of other friends who did while their friends didn't. Car accidents aren't especially funny. If anyone ever leaked a photo like this this of someone I cared about, I would hunt them down and kill them, end of story...
