I'd stay away regardless. I just had a PP account frozen because I sold too much stuff :) Only one person hadn't received their PS3, the rest did; all the tracking numbers clearly displayd that. Yet PayPal wants me to 'prove' I had them lmao. Mother fuckers!

The scenario is kinda different to a few guys/girls operating websites with little or no solid physical base or management experience - the risk element is obviously higher for eg PayPal under these circumstances. (Plus, it's a lot more work mangaging 1000's of smaller merchants who may often have a biz career on the next of a couple of years) |

but even with all that said ... I'd still use them to process adult products because it is the single best converting billing method, and you can withdraw your money daily. Just take the risk that you are prepared to accept the consequences of! |
I doubt it's processing 'adult' as one big lump of filth.
My thought here is the word, 'tangibles'.... i.e. toys, DVD, video, etc. The rules for tangibles are different that for memberships, clips, or untangibles as defined by VISA/M.C. :2 cents: |
i am banned for life seven times for selling dvd's with paypal, i have tried and cried my way to get nothing.

Nice deal if you've got the resources to exploit it. :P I imagine competition will quickly get fierce.

Seven Life sentences from Paypal. That is too funny.

Paypal do indeed seem to be backing porn in one way or another, here in the UK at least.
In the UK we have a mobile phone network called "3" (www.three.co.uk) One of the functions of this network is called "see me tv" Basically people can upload clips of themselves masturbating, showing their tits etc. Each time a "surfer" downloads a clip, the sender of the video gets paid a percentage and according to this page, payment is made via paypal : http://www.three.co.uk/personal/cust...=1128010467006 Trouble is, paypal's mature policy page clearly states this : Digital Goods PayPal prohibits transactions for all sexually oriented digital goods. Digital goods include downloaded pictures or videos, subscriptions to websites, or other content delivered through a digital medium. Thoughts??? |
