I am an atheist, and I don't celebrate Christmas as much as I make my rounds to collect my gifts.

We do celebrate Christmas, Halloween, and even Valentines Day here. :)

Santa Claus is god, and I pray for him to bring me some sweet ass presents.

I am not a Christian but I put up a christmas tree etc and do the Christmas thing for my kids. I don't really see how that's hypocritical, though, because Christmas was NOT CHRIST'S birthday, but a rip on a pagan holiday, Yule. The Christian Church decided sometime during the dark ages that it was easier to adopt and "Christianize" pagan holidays than it was to enforce their own. Even proper "Christians" would NOT celebrate Christmas because they felt it was a PAGAN holiday. So all the Christians that have their panties in a bunch over your "hypocrasy" should go home and look in the mirror, or perhaps just do a little research.

All the archeological and historical evidence (not to mention the weather) points to the birth of Jesus being closer to the beginning of November. December is far too cold for the flocks and Shephards to be in the fields around December 25th.
