Said at the start that the content of this thread will be utterly meaningless and full of crap that has no relevance to anything - nevermind "global warming" - and be filled with "opinions" that don't matter.

I am not an expert on global warming nor have I done any research into how this may or may not worsen - and have nothing to offer.

It takes a little more than a stupid thread on GFY, the world's research board and fountain-of-all-knowlege-on-any-subject to produce an answer :winkwink:

Tho would say there is far more to this subject than the stereotyped crap being thrown around by the clueless. Only my biase, but prefer to get information from people with some qualification and actively engaged in this area - from what has been picked up so far, it sure has been an education. But - I know nothin, - no more than the size of a grain of sand.

But.. don't let me stop ya - impart that wealth of knowledge on any topic :thumbsup I'm sure it's good for sig whoring :)

Is that what you assumed this time??? *lol*

That assumption sounds in keeping with your backbone of solid experience in the field. Why not hijack another thread and fuck that up sign whoring with another inane diatribe of crap responses in a feeble attempt to expound your awesome experience on any topic? :thumbsup

Now... about US politics? Abortion? Gay rights? The "war on terror"? Na.. too cliche :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Your url doesn't work and I think Steven Hawkins is probably a little smarter then GFY no offense but if you really want to know about this look him up.

I don't believe global warming. I've been freezing my ass off the past week.

I wish it was true, and consistent - We need tropical weather up here all year round!

umm ok whatever. Dude if you have some proof of how the planet running out of oil would increase pollution and therefore increase the so called threat of global warming please reveal it. Stop your squirely talking in circles little quipy stuff. Tiresome lol

Here's the URL chaze..

I'd agree totally with you - and that is precisely what I was saying earlier. It's a joke to assume the opinions of anyone on GFY can be compared to Hawkins or anyone who was trained and then spent their lives researching or working on global enviornmental issues.

DUH? Why in Gawd's name do you think I should have any proof of stuff I know nothing about?? Don't you get it yet?? :1orglaugh

You are an odd bird. You post about how resource depletion is going to negatively affect global climate, then say you know nothing about it.... :uhoh Do you have tea time everyday? Just curious. :1orglaugh

No.. there is a species called a bird, and last I heard I was not entitled to claim to be part of that species *lol* (See how much you can learn on GFY? Awesome eh? :winkwink: )

If you wish to have any sane discussion on resource depletion, (which btw does related to your topic of global warming/environmental issues and vice versa), I'll have a chat any day.

Sadly, tea time has passed - a custom that happens around 4pm :)

What environmental issues concern you so much that you feel a need to respond? :)

Na.. he just consumed too many hamburgers at McDonalds as a test :1orglaugh

Where are you MP? Temp? Just checked it's about 70-76 here, depending on which part of the country (Costa Rica) and it's "summer" now, tho you'd not notice much if it was winter - the temperature is always much the same, but maybe more warm rain in "winter".

baddog 12-12-2006 12:04 AM

having just returned from a week in northern Indiana, I don't think you have anything to worry about . . . .it is plenty cold there

I'm surprised you haven't even got any further than thinking about oil when thinking about resources

The SEO Hippy 12-12-2006 09:23 AM

I think regardless of whether all our paving/pollution/etc is to blame for warming of if it's just a natural cycle... there are pro-environment steps we should be taking but aren't for whatever reason (gov. in bed with corporations, special interest, etc).

I do not think we are solely responsible for warming, but we definately contribute to it.
