I just read that thread. That's messed up. You know they are scammers when they don't even try to defend themselves by replying with bullshit excuses.

lol several times prepaying coders but nobody from GFY. The funniest was a PHD computer science student at a prominent US university from the same team that cracked several OCR programs. I figured he should be trustworthy. After a couple months of delays, he finally said he was too busy to complete my request but had already spend many hours on it and therefore couldn't refund the money. :error

For certain people posting in this thread, getting scammed is pure karma.

the fuckers of Velcom Webhosting have an affiliate program.. I've made several sales, as well as a one year client who recurs every month, I've been way beyond the minimum payout for over 10 months now..

over 50+ emails
dozens of phonecalls -- nobody ever answers goddamned phone there..

Not one single reply to any emails..

they are thieves & scammers that do not pay

TODAY: my BANK !!! Over 2000 USD last month. I invested some bucks into Dow Jones Top 50 companies and my bank had to pay me 90% of the revenue. Shit. The index raised 50% up, but they paid me only 17%. And today they told me they want 8 bucks for every check that I bring them (until now I paid only 1bucks/check fee), so thats about 800 bucks a year. FUCK THEM !!!!

YESTERDAY: my car insurance - i pay every year more and more without causing an accident. that's not normal. so i've found another insurance company where I will be paying the half.

every day I get cheated....

Here are mine.

Local phone companies allowing bullshit companies to bill you on your phone bill for rebilling membership fees. They claim i signed up to some paging /voice mail service or some shit. All that is needed to "signup" for this service is my phone number. Anyone can put in anyone's phone number. Scammers. I didn't signup for that crap.

I feel your pain. Insurance companies, Cell phone companies, and credit card companies / banks are the worst to deal with. They will nickle and dime you and fuck you every chance they get.

This is all kind of scary. Asking around it seems like EVERYONE has been scammed atleast once. Like you can't get through this business unscathed or uncheated or unfucked at some point.

I orderer banners, 50% upfront. Site was down 2 days after.
This one is not a scam but it hurt: Lost 4500$ trying to open an offshore account in the philippines. Banks in the philippines stopped processing for adult during this period of time. My money is lost somewhere. I would say i have 10% of chance of getting it back.
