I really enjoyed Mass the year I was there. I am partial to the Pennsylvania area because I grew up there but I LOVE the Cape Ann area of Mass..I could easily live there even with the winters...which just add character to a place.

There are lots of nice places in Maine. I lived in a lake resort town a couple years ago. You can;t touch a house there for under 350k. But it's worth it. The views are priceless. The lakes, trees, outdoor activities, peace and quiet. And you don't have to worry about your shit getting stolen or broken into.

I hate Pennsylvania Sarah. Was born and raised there. (you know that) Just alot of bad memories for me I guess.
