Fansigns should be limited to webmasters

I think the main problem fansigns are delivered so infrequently is because of the sheer number of surfers demanding fansigns so they can feel better about their pathetic selves.

This is a webmaster board, a board designed for business related issues in the adult market. If surfers want fansigns, they should visit surfer related forums (somethingawful and the like).

The motivation for these girls to do fansigns is to get their sites promoted, not to get some 16 year old something to brag about to his friends

And if the problem is that the category for which these signs are made is called 'fansigns', then perhaps new rules should be set for another category for signs - 'webmaster signs' or something.

In the end its up to them to come through the the fansigns period

Some people going to hate me for this, but I agree 200%.. My last fan sign thread got totally out of hand somewhat 243 reply's with people calling out for a fansign, while i actually posted on reply nr 10 or so ok guys its enough no more and they just kept on replying.. Not many days later I was actually witnessing people nagging about they didnt get a fan sign from ayrola.. Common people first of all these guys who was nagging got reply nr 144 or something and second of all was in no way promoting ayrola in any way... if the poor suckers just bothered to read my reply on post nr 10... but no they see subject fan sign and without even looking what its about they reply yes!! common are you guys so desperate for a girl holding ur line on a piece of paper??? I'm sorry but its these people what made me decide not to ever make any fan signs on gfy anymore yes they spoil it for the honest hard working webmasters on here...

Well, considering it would be optimal. But I think GFY needs alot more moderating or some type of fee. Anything to reduce the bullshit on this board and weed out the nonwebmasters.

What about prospective affiliate members? Yah, like you said gfy prevents that from happening, but I don't see anything really wrong with it. Besides, if you don't sign up for her affiliate program, wtf are you going to do with the fansign anyways....

Not really... GFY rules say you only have to do 20 signs. They don't say you have to do a sign for everyone who requests it. So you can easily make signs only for those who you know will use them to promote your sites.
