Off topic: Is there a place you can get eggnog when it isn't the holiday season? I fucking love that stuff but can't seem to find it anywhere outside of this time of year.

Last time I cooked, I burnt rice (which is easier than I thought it would be). Making eggnog would arguably have me making a quick trip to the emergency room.

It would be nice to get it year round, but I guess it would add about 10 pounds to me a year. I think what I miss most are the eggnog shakes at McDonalds (although not as much as the Shamrock shakes).

Get a rice cooker! My Mom got me mine at some store that was closing in FL for $4 and that thing works like a freaking charm. You can steam veggies in there too. Can probably make hotdogs with it and not make a fire too.......:disgust
