I know this thread is old as hell but I thought my personal bank did the same thing to me the other night. Turned out they were doing an update, but for a day I had a whole bank account disappear and then when it came back initially the balance only showed like $500. "Playing with my money is like playing with my emotions."

BofA sucks. I opened an account w/ them once and got so fed up with their extreme circle jerk customer service that I closed the account within a month.

I also heard they lost some pretty big class actions against them and have had to pay back their customers alot of shady fees they had taken over the years. Maybe BP will be getting some unexpected $$ back. I know a handful of people here have.

I use to get a shitload of ccbill checks in the mail.
I would walk in there to deposit over 100 checks a time from ccbill alone.

I closed my account with them when the bank teller looked at me one day and said....

"we thought you were printing those out at home"

Then I consolidated all my accounts.

This thread is Ironic.. I just bought about 60 grand of BofA stock earlier in the week. WTF..

I've pretty happy with them, their service have been superior compared to any other US banks I've worked with. Never had to fill a single form myself and my banker always came to either my home or office if I needed to sign anything... getting the right banker really makes a difference :-)
