It's a nice feature, but say you want to go to camping, or maybe spend a week or 7 at a summer cabin in the middle of nowhere... IT'd be grand to just
a) Use your cellphone browser there
b) link it to your laptop and voilą, wireless broadband anywhere.

.... I really really am wondering their decision to stick with edge.

Then again the phone may not be designed for european/asian markets where people actually know what 3rd generation and wireless broadband is.
