I would drop them a quick email and let them know sending back $ over epass can be a bitch with the $500 daily max.. but the sender maybe able to get epass to pull the cash back for them.
That said I would send back $11,995 ... $5 for a beer aka honest guy fee

This actually happened to me a while ago. I had a sponser that should have sent me a couple hundred bucks send me a check for 20K I just about shit my pants. Triple checked my stats and debated if I should deposit it. I emailed the sponsor and they then told me that they had all kinds of problems with their accounts and everyone got the wrong checks and they had no idea who got what. I could have deposited it and they would have never known. They were so happy I emailed them they sent me 2K as a thank you.

I'd return the cash... since I know that it's not mine...
