do you really think youre gonna get a statement?

this is something that will keep attorneys all over the world busy for the next decades, theres no way youll get a reply to this

one word: paranoia.

But, you have taken the course of action that is available to everyone if they dont want to use epass: you have chosen to not do any business with them.

Thanks for the statement Michael - We support you guys 100% :thumbsup

Paranoia?

Do you read this board... or any others?

People have had money stolen from their accounts and like many others I though it was stupidity/weak password/etc.. until it happened to a person that I know who has not used the account for ANY sponsor payments and has (had) a secure password.

It is not paranoia when the evidence points to epass facilitating theft either through direct actions or through weak security.

In a free world you have the option of securing your money any way that you see fit. You can trust it ti epass or you can put it in a paper bag. In my opinion trusting it to epass is as secure as puttin your wallet in the toe of your shoe on the beach. It will onlt be a matter of time before someone steals your shoes AND your money.

Ya man Im a n00b and I dont know anyone in this industry. Like I said - you've made your free world choice - and I still think you're being paranoid.

I can understand your situation and I tihnk it's kinda like this: Let's say there is a huge increase in the number of people getting hit by buses.. let's say from 1 / 100000 street crossings to 1 / 20000. You think "Hey, that's ok, the chances I'll get hit by a bus are still crazy low". Then your best friend gets hit by a bus and you say "Wow, Im never crossing the street again, it's too risky".

Pleasurepays 02-28-2007 11:09 AM

50 desperate people ignoring a long history of general incompetence and risk of YOUR money.

Juicy D. Links 02-28-2007 11:10 AM

Is there anyway to get a epass card cobranded with face on it?

I personally would feel better knowing some additional layers of security were being considered, and a statement about ePassporte's position on the use of their service for online gambling.

Here's the deal.. If they mention more security that would mean that their security was lax and open them to liability.

You will hear no gambling talk nor security talk... you will only hear "ear candy".

If what all of you sheep were waiting on was an "official statement" so that you can breathe a sign of relief and then place your money right back in the purse of the thief then go right ahead.

Do you think that epass would come out and publicly state that they were hacked or worse that they have an employee feeding logins to his cousin in Taiwan? Of course not. They are gong to blow smoke up your ass and lead you down the primrose path long enough for you to be lulled into believing that the problems were not theirs.

I foretold the demise of MyVirTualCard/Paymonde long before they stole your money and ran and I am telling you that if you put your money in epass you are inviting the same problems that came from MVC/Paymonde = YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Let me be the first to say: "I will no longer do business with epass. I will not send money nor will I receive money from people that use epass. I cannot in good conscious support a company that facilitates fraud."

I agree with you man. Good post!

shunga 02-28-2007 11:33 AM

Thanks for the update on these issues. It's appreciated.

A. You will have to wait until Dog gets out of prison in Mexico.

B. Remind me never to have lunch at your house.

I can tell you that I will never more a single nickel through epass until you demonstrate that you have some greater level of concern for your customers. Contact me on ICQ and I will give you the details of a theft that was handled very poorly.

lol maybe idiots should reply to dumb spoofed emails with their password

Newsflash: THEY DON'T. More money = better lawyers. Epassporte is a piss in the ocean compared to Neteller.

kektex 02-28-2007 12:02 PM

I`m not so worried about the support and security issues as I am with the gambling stuff.
After what happened with Neteller will epassporte escape unscathed?

neteller did somehting like 7.5 BILLION dollars in online transfers on 05

i have to agree i dont think epass is anywhere close to that

Spunky 02-28-2007 12:05 PM

Although I appreciate your help with the past I do believe the security has to be priority #1.I hope I don't have a repeat of the last time ;)

guess i should have used the sarcasm tags. :winkwink:

jscott 02-28-2007 12:05 PM

like many others said, thanks for responding to customer concerns finally, and admitting to poor customer support

most times the companies say "well i never got that email" or "icq has been acting up" etc etc

Kimo 02-28-2007 12:11 PM

i am still worried about epass participating in gambling transactions

DaddyMustang 02-28-2007 12:20 PM

it was the time for this...though the number of rumors will never end...even if you have a good service, thats the way it goes

TeenCat 02-28-2007 12:23 PM

thank you epass, im always on your side! and f*ck all the stupid brains with "two years old child hackable passwords"

I fail to see how a compromised password would fall under epassporte's "shitty security."

I have seen the stupid passwords people use to protect root access to their servers, I can only imagine how simple their epass passwords might be.

I would like to address the illegal activities question though.

Does epass consider online gambling transactions illegal?

Apparently they don't, since they keep doing business with online casinos. Which is why they will end up getting a stiff cock up their ass, no lube involved.

While I agree it is a good thing they have some board presence, it isn't like he constructed that post. :2 cents:

BofA is a great bank. Why you feel the need to brag to them that you are involved in adult is beyond me

Who asked you? I have been using them since before I got into adult, and have opened multiple business accounts with them in the last couple of years, all with zero fees, and zero issues that were not resolved by walking into my local branch and sitting down with them.

Precisely.

They had better become responsible to US law if you want to be able to continue using them.
