Haha funny pics
It does not matter if 99% of the EU population ( I am not including kebab-shop owners, taxi-drivers and "donnie" in those numbers ) do not want Turkey as a part of the EU, the politically correct people at the top will want to include them anyways. |

What what what? Tell me loser, i can't hear you very well, sorry, you said a Turk dumped your shitty ass? :helpme :banana :321GFY |

Guys!.
i can't believe that what you say. how some of you guys can judge people without knowing about them? 1. Turkiye is not an Islamic republic & they can't set europ too. 2. don't worry we don't want to enter EU even we will have million euros for each of us, only our government wants it who licks EU's & America's asses. 3. any of them are not Turks who came there with Turkiye passport; (a specially keep in mind monkey kurds which you loved very much to use against Turkiye). 4. uneducated or sick people are every where, not only here. yea everybody is good & we are bad only. |
Some of those pics look like Puerto Rico, especially the one with the phone pole in the middle of the road (this actually exists on the way to my new home).

Turkey is Islamic and is becoming less and less secular. Hardcore nationalists are gaining ground, look at the penal code 301, which jails people who insult Turkey |
Funny pics :1orglaugh
but nevertheless there are many other countries in the past that should not have joined the EU! Just from the point of view of core EU members: Expanding the borders does not just make it easier for manufacturers to move labour into cheaper (once upon a time) eastern block countries and thus limit the work available for their own workforce but also the funding by the EU that has in the past and still does go to needy places like Cornwall, UK or the eastern part of Germany will be pretty much limited. There are newcomer exeptions of course that do fit in really well |
ups i forgot
50 turks looking to enter the eu...ok done |

In fact, however, modern-day Turkey was founded upon a combination of nationalism and secularism. The military, which has long held an exceedingly important political position in Turkey, has always tried to defend these two things - often by questionable means. Only recently, Turkey has become more democratic, which has ironically increased the power of Turkish Islamists. Many Turkish nationalists, including the military, still vehemently oppose the Islamisation of the state. And make no mistake about it - the Turkish nationalist/secular faction is quite radical in its rejection of Islamism. For example, to this day, women are banned from wearing headscarves as a symbol of Islam in public office and in universities. Just recently, the Dutch Queen visited Turkey, and extended an invitation for a concert to the (secular/nationalist) Turkish president. He declined, most likely because there would be women wearing headscarves attending the event as well - like the (islamist) prime minister's wife. The two movements which you seemed to link together are in fact strongly opposed to eachother :2 cents: |

No, the Erdogan government is not a puppet. It's an annoyance to the Turkish secular nationalists, and it's Islamist background is a potential source of future conflict. Yes, Turkey has a strong secular tradition. And no, that does not contradict in any way with it's admittedly deep-rooted nationalism. (*) Yes, there are some radical nationalists who plan to take over the world. There are many more who would like to do so, but realize that it's not going to happen. Most of those, however, do intend to keep Turkey a strongly nationalist state, and will gladly imprison, kill or torture those who attack (their idea of) Turkey. Likewise, there are some radical Islamists in Turkey, who plan to turn it into a purely Islamic state. There are many more who will settle for as much Islamism as they can get. Some of those are non-nationalist Turkish Islamists, some are nationalist Turks as well as Islamists. While the law you are referring to is relatively new, Turkish nationalism is not. Likewise, the case of Hrant Dink is clearly not isolated. Just look at the many human rights activists who have been threatened, imprisoned and even murdered for (peacefully) raising the issue of Kurdish rights. The point I am making is that Turkey is not moving in a single, clear way. There are several factions within Turkey with radically different and incompatible goals, and just lumping them all together is deeply misleading at best. |

It, basically will put you in jail if you insult Turkey, Turkishness (a word invented by nationalists) or insult Turkey's founder, Ataturk. |

Either you are a non-Turk who has no clue about Turkey or you are a Turk who has not been to Turkey for ages. Nationalism is gaining ground, just look at how a prominent journalist was gunned down in broad daylight, then the killer was hailed as a hero, look at the police posing with the guy http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/image...afp203body.jpg The whole secular thing is just a front, a front for EU, so Europeans can see how Turkey has changed, but it is all on the surface. Maybe Istambul is secular and liberal, but most of the country is brainwashed by nationalistic ideas, like "Pan-Turanism". The whole legal system is very biased and prohibits any anti-Turkish ideas. Oh, and look at this video and you will know what I am talking about https://youtube.com/watch?v=XgnxNFDxyoc People throwing eggs and threatening Orhan Pamuk, Turkey's greatest novelist and a Nobel Prize winner! |
LOL great pics :D I hope this fucking country will never be part of the EU...these turks just bring trouble and their fucked up religious bullshit.
|
LOL those are great but I doubt all of the are of Turkey but rather just a collection from a guy with an axe to grind.

Actually the EU influence may have a good, calming effect on the country. Getting them out of Northern Cyprus as a power would also be a desireable (if unlikely) effect. Looking at the Turks I have seen in Scandinavia, they overall make pretty good migrants. They usually work hard and integrate a lot better than some nationalities. I think EU membership for Turley is desireable for a lot of people, as it would have effects on the balance of power in that part of the world. |
hahaha some funny pics there!

maybe because they are terrorists? oh i forgot, we are talking about EURABIA, i'm sure they'll welcome them with OPEN ARMS.
