Yep. We'll include all of you in the 'definitely not' category, otherwise you already would have. :thumbsup

#1 and #4 are based on in depth research on issues such as these.

#1 is where people usually run to who have a little and sometimes a lot of cash. The 3rd world for 1st worlders is a place to hide, run, or escape to. Drugs, whores, corruption, etc etc. It gets old after a couple of years.

The 3rd world is cheap... but with that cheap you get: corruption, infectious disease, financial crises, coups, poor health care, narco states, lack of services, 1/2 capitalists, etc etc.

----

#4 is an interesting one. The most recent examples are the former Soviet Republics and Tito's Yugoslavia. The wall fell in 1991 and we are now on year 16. There are only a couple I would live in and I would only live in the major cities...

Funny, I was just having a conversation with one of my lawyers today about Bulgaria and the rampant corruption there. Oddly enough, my point of view is that corruption is GREAT when it works for you and not against you. If you know the right people in a lot of those 3rd world countries, you should have a great time.

Would you give up your US citizenship for a million bucks?

Can move anywhere in the world.. but must renounce US citizenship, and obtain residency/citizenship of other country- permanently.

Max 30-days annual visitation to US.

hahaha, where the fuck do I sign?

Yes, from the outside I can see where it seems great. Wait until they grow tired of you and the payments required keep escalating. Soon it escalates to violence... what do you do when the police are the ones shaking you down?

It is like prison. The first time you take it in the ass you are doomed to be fucked until you finally kill someone.

As for "knowing" the right people... trust me on this... You are not from there, you do not speak the same language, or have the same culture. Their loyalty to you will disappear very, very quickly and you are just another outsider they fucked. There is no honor amongst thieves.

Bulgaria will open your eyes if you ever try to do something there.
