Yes, from the outside I can see where it seems great. Wait until they grow tired of you and the payments required keep escalating. Soon it escalates to violence... what do you do when the police are the ones shaking you down?
It is like prison. The first time you take it in the ass you are doomed to be fucked until you finally kill someone.
As for "knowing" the right people... trust me on this... You are not from there, you do not speak the same language, or have the same culture. Their loyalty to you will disappear very, very quickly and you are just another outsider they fucked. There is no honor amongst thieves.
Bulgaria will open your eyes if you ever try to do something there.
