You and I are not square. I'll be more then happy to signup and promote Vivid the day they fire you. Your actions and words throughout this thread should say all people need to know about your character. |

and just to clarify, I am an affiliate and have no vested interested in either company in question here, I just know for a fact that most affiliates are fucking idiots these days and are more trouble than they are worth |

Seriously, I don't want your business. You've shown your character as well. You are a whiny bitch and I'm glad that nobody from my company has to deal with you and have you waste their time. Get over the fact that I don't need you as an affiliate. I am done replying to your weak responses. It was fun pissing over the weekend :) |

I have read this entire thread.
In my experiences at Silvercash and we had removed our rewards program so we can aim those resources and costs to provide different priority webmaster benefits (stated by our webmasters in a questionaire) and ultimately lead to increased payout options (Ex: Our current promo of $50 PPS on our HD Sites) In the transition, we had webmasters who did not recieve notice and we posted this change on different communication platforms to ensure we avoided problems like this. I can only assume that a company like hustler did their due dilligence in communicating this and this entire thread is a miscommunication. More importantly, the competition for webmasters is hyper competitive, thus NOT communicating this change would certainly have an adverse effect and not be in their best interest of Hustler. The main point is that, every credible program makes themselves accessible and I am confident one phone call would of resolved this issue rather the poor public relations on a flaming thread. I have offered 3 different phone numbers, emails and ICQ....and the webmasters who use GFY as their support channel for the means of communications will likely get poor service because of the unprofessional mannerisms this board breeds. Empathy is an artform. IMO, you don't bite the hand that feeds you. PS: I think it is important for webmasters to read my post but I hate the fact this thread is getting bumped again. Sorry JMK. |

So in your opinion, if an affiliate program advertises that they have a rewards program and you login, and theres no rewards program to found. Thats ok huh? Then if the affiliate emails sponsor, more then once, and the emails go unanswered, thats ok too eh? I do however, agree that the affiliate program model, in the long term, is a money train that you better jump on while you got the chance. The amount of free content being handed out to people who don't even have proven traffic resources, is completely irresponsible. Who's fault is that? |

Very, very professional. :thumbsup |

This is not a flaming thread, nor was it intended to be. I emailed twice, no answer. I did not post here expecting an answer from Hustler. I did not say Hustler sucked. In fact, right off the bat, someone stepped in to say they sucked, and I made it clear, thats not why I started the thread. th Apparently, I have indeed touched a nerve, and it's all about attacking me now, and no one seems to care that emails went unanswered. Or that Hustler is advertising they have a rewards program that isn't there. This thread has turned into a extremely, vicious attack thread against me, who asked a simple, non flaming question, directed to anyone who might have the answer. |

I think I addressed all the issues, what else can I help you with? (except relaunching the rewards store of course) |

I totally agree, that's why I have a phone number, ICQ and email in my sig. A lot of people also have my cell phone and heck some can come to my house :1orglaugh |

How about stop acting like you went out of your way, and did all you could, to help out your affiliate. Stop treating the thread like it has entertainment value, and its all a big joke. I sent emails, they went unanswered. At some point in time, in this thread, I got my answer. I was fine with that. I didn't like the hoops I had to jump through to get it, and I made that fact known. That right there touched some nerves didn't it? This only reason this thread continues, is because some people, who obviously don't give a shit about their affiliates, chose to attack me, and continue to bump it. If they want to continue the attacks, Ill continue to respond to them. Not a problem. As I said before, I've always enjoyed my Hustler checks. Hustler has been a great sponsor, I just wanted to know if anyone else knew what was going on since I didn't a response. That did not deserve the types of responses I got from you, or the rest of the so called "industry" professionals, that decided to come in to try and discredit and provoke me. |

This thread turned into nonsense and you know that. It's ok to have fun sometimes :winkwink: I don't take business personal. So no you did NOT touch any nerves (as far as I am concerned). Sorry that your emails went unanswered. We'll try better. We got WAY too many emails about that subject, so my guess is that's why. And it was not a high priority for us, as I prefer to improve other things that yield more money to everyone. But like I said I bumped up the relaunch of the store and it will be announced in our newsletter as soon as it's ready. Glad you like HustlerCash! :thumbsup |

I don't think you started a malicious thread, but you started talking shit about affiliate programs in general and I called bullshit. I think you were shocked at my reply because often times what you see on this board are reps going around and kissing everyone's ass for traffic (p1mpdogg excluded). I'm not in a position where I have to kiss your ass. I can say whatever I want to you and I think that shocked you because I run a program. That being said, you took it extremely personal and made the assumption that I am disrespectful to webmasters in general, which is totally not the case, especially when I am one. I think that if you stepped back and realized that you are on a message board that has smilies of other smilies blowing each other :love2suck you'd understand that people don't always have to be 'professional' on a message board named 'Go Fuck Yourself'. Also don't be surprised if everyone in the porn industry doesn't want or need to be your friend. As far as I'm concerned, we're square. |

Also, as far your bad attitude being confined to this board, your full of shit. I personally watched you belittle a guy at internext in Vegas, and he didn't even say anything to you. Your boss better keep a leash on you when he sends his money to a tradeshow to drum up new biz. |

Icq is reliable if you add the person. You can save message history. Its mostly when the person on the other end doesnt want to respond to you. Then they make up an excuse.

I will put it this way... since you have a support telephone number these people shouldnt be fucking whining anyways. They could always call and get someone right away.

Nor do I care. Why? Who's dick did he suck to get his job? |
I think the problem here is that virtually everyone posting in this thread, with the exception of Tenfoot, has bonded at conferences day in and day out over and over again for several years. It's quite easy to get stuck in the box with the ease of face to face communications even though most of the time we spend throughout the year is at our desk - because the personal interaction really sticks with you.
To be honest it's sometimes a bit difficult to come home and back to the boards after you've been the company emissary for 3-6 days, up 22 hours every day and jet-lagged on top of it when you return home to a shit pile of work waiting for you. What exactly am I saying? Well, I think to a certain extent just about everybody posting in this thread is quite a bit right. When you don't know someone you don't quite know how to frame what they're saying or how they're saying it when they are posting on a message board. Jean-Marie, Derek, Mike from Vivid, Michael from SexEntertain, Albert - these are some of the more brilliant in our bunch and believe it or not, some of the hardest working, most humble and frankly genuine people available to meet in our business. So, perhaps it's an 'off' thread or a bad day for one or more individuals - perhaps they are sometimes challenged with reading how someone is questioning them in a public forum. Right, wrong or indifferent we all have our challenges and serious responsibility to ourselves, employers, suppliers and clients. Not being the guy to bullshit anyone myself, if I had never been to a tradeshow and met all of you guys I would probably have framed the thread like Why or Tenfoot. But I do know your personalities and it does add dimension to your posts. Understanding this from every conceivable angle, I still think the best approach through all mediums of communication (ICQ, email, boards, phone) is to slow down and break this shit down to the lowest common denominator in the most respectful way possible. The one thing I constantly remind myself on the boards is that even though I am often responding directly to one party or person, I am always writing for the benefit of the masses of people who don't even register or post here. For every one total fucking idiot on this board there are at least ten more right behind him - but right behind those ten are ten people that just read and take it all in. Those are the ones that we are here posting for, they're often the 'qualified' clients of sorts, the ones working their business for the sake of business and not for a popularity contest. I don't know if there are winners and losers in this thread but it does seem that a group hug is in order. How about I buy your ticket to August tradeshow, Tenfoot, so that all of us can discuss this over drinks? :pimp Cheers, Brad |
