The first thing I learned in management was what I learned above, it applies to a lot more then management though. If everyone loves you, and everyone is your friend then there's something wrong, somewhere.

You did the right thing, quit Zango, but then you fucked it up by *being honest* and saying it "wasn't profitable" which is actually the smart thing to do becasue maybe people would follow suit if you quit, other than having lost a chance at some good spin.
