I'm not sure who your client is but pursuing an international legal battle is no walk in the park either.

For what it's worth.....I've done business with a lot of Canadian clients over the years and there is only one that I ever had any sort of payment issues with.....and he happened to be the only Canadian client I ever put on a payment plan and/or sent content to without 100% payment first. I have definitely had more positive experiences with Canadian clients than an other nationality.

Boy did I learn that this month. Sitting waiting on payment and customer has all content and 2257 docs... :disgust :mad: Drama coming in 2 days if payment doesnt arrive. Will be 1 month since delivery on the 16th. :disgust

Going to start requiring escrow or something very soon. :disgust

just goes to show, there are dirtbags on both sides of the fence - and it drives the honest people on BOTH sides crazy :disgust

I can vouch for mike, he pays ontime and is easy to deal with. Any content provider looking for a good quality, longterm client, should give his stuff a shot, it really isnt that hard to shoot.

This thread helped me make a decision. Any content sent out via dvd or hard drive will be winrared and a big ass password on it till I receive payment. Payment comes, they get an email with the password releasing the content.

That sucks Mike. All of my stuff comes with docs with the download, you pay, you get the docs and the content immediately. If I didnt have the docs it wouldnt be for sale. Simple as that.

Also, I tried to shoot the smoking stuff and its damn tough. The girls have a hard time with it and its hard to get the lighting just right. I hope you find someone to do it.

Even as a European content provider 2257 changed our organization from the beginning. With the large stock of content we have it was a tremendous job to search, scan and print all the legal documents, but at the end it pays of.
Last month we had a customer who purchased our whole stock of content (6000+ sets), including all the documents. Guess what, he was totally satisfied and he told me that we were one of the best organized providers out there. That?s what it makes worth the work we have done!
From the beginning we had the policy that you can swap a set, if you are not satisfied with the documents. For me it is sad to hear that there are still providers who serve there customers so bad, but on the other hand I am sure it will bring much more business to the serious providers out there.

Hey Mike. I told you that we will reshoot that scene when we will be ready to shoot the smoking scene. Some girls are not smoking at all and will not smoke just for a video, plus this reshooting will be free you are not paying for reshoothing that scene, so we are waiting for big order with the model who smoke because we can't just book a model for one smoking scene and shoot 15 minutes of video, because we need to pay model fee for at least half day of work, so we will reshoot that smoking scene for you when we will be ready.

And that's why I waited *three months* without saying anything here - but you're always posting that you have "ten new girls," order NOW!" and you even came into my own thread about other content producers to spam it, telling me to order from you and i won't have problems :error

Since you're constantly trying to find new business, I had told you I was going to place a large order with you once this outstanding problem was settled - I would think you would remember the "large order" part before you came into my thread and told me to order from you :(

Sounds like a personal problem to me. Perhaps if you didn't fuck it up the first time then you would not be in the position you are in now.

I've had to reshoot scenes because of fucked up video tapes and I never had the stupidity to tell my clients what you just told Mike.

If you were a responsible businessmen then you would reshoot it and eat the cost. The way you have chosen will most certainly cost you more money in lost business.
