Uh no, thank the lady who called 911. God didnt call, a person did.

Luckily it was only the one apt or it could have been alot worse like you said. The bad thing is, most people's fire alarms in their house won't go off to certain types of smoke or won't even go off for 30 min after the fire has been going. Sure made us spend some money on the MasterGuard products for our new house after seeing one of their classes and videos.

I am terribly sorry for your horrible loss, our place in Baltimore burned down in October, so I can empathize with what you are going through.

I learned a very valuable lesson from that fire, material posessions are just that, nothing more.

Uh hell no. I donate to them, I would never start one. I asked if people had EXTRA ITEMS that they were just letting sit around to help out the family whose home was totally destroyed. You know......old lamps, clothing and stuff, not money..... this family is way too proud to take money anyhow.

I'm out of the house...... The fumes or the smoke I got lastnight made me so tired I fell asleep on an outdoor lounge chair.

.... I'm on DIAL UP. EEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK! But, it's not as horrible as I thought, you just have to click a page, walk away, watch some TV, come back and it's loaded. They are going in Monday to do "whatever they do" after a fire. Until then my place was deemed unsafe to life in becauase of the CarbonM levels and the smell was unbearable. I saw the family where the fire started and they are doing okay.... distraught, but okay.

i'm so sorry to hear about this. best wishes with everything and i sincerely hope your cat comes back, i can't imagine being without my pets. keep us posted!!
