Nearly anyone has a gun in western Canada maybe with the exception of BC... THey have a bit of a cowboy culture like you'll find in some part of the US where they have their kids hunt, etc.. yet.. you don't see much crime in those part of Canada especially compared to the US... Canada isn't exactly immune to the phenonemon. With 10x the population of Canada, I'd expect the US to have 10x the problem, which, if you look at the numbers, probably isn't THAT far off.

They are reporting he was shooting with 9mm's....NOT with machine guns, as was initially reported. I don't see how it's possible that he shot or killed almost 60 people with only two 9mm's. Those of us with CCW permits are not allowed to carry on school campus.

It's part of the Law that entitles us to legally carry concealed weapons.

This thread just reminded of the thread a couple of week's ago when people were debating what age should we teach our kids how to shoot. It was mostly people under the age of 10. That really bothered me.
