Let's see someone top this.

In grade school (like 1st grade) my worse class was gym, and I was always a poor sport about it. So my gym teacher, in front of the whole class, would pick me up and cradle me while singing Rockabye Baby!

Gym teachers have to exist entirely to traumatize kids.

Perhaps in Sweden :)

V_RocKs 04-18-2007 04:30 AM

I liked English... Mrs. Hall... 24 years old... Went on the ski trips with us... We all wanted to fuck her soooooo fucking badly!

Apache_A 04-18-2007 04:38 AM

What's your definition of worst/best.

I was great at maths but it bored me to death cos I didn't find it challenging.
I was crap as english (had to retake my GCSE engilsh a couple of times) and didn't like that either because it was hard.

I didn't really enjoy school, teachers picked on me because I did just enough work to get the grades to progress to A-level and then onto my Degree and they knew I knew I could do much better and that really bugged them for some reason.

BTW there are some really odd classes being studied in various countries, and what's this child slave labour they seem to be employing with all the sign writing?

Basic_man 04-18-2007 04:42 AM

My best is still automatisation with PLC. My worst is the french class! God damn french classes..

Scott McD 04-18-2007 04:43 AM

My Maths teacher was pretty hot. She used to always wear tops which had her boobs hanging out.

Made Maths bearable... :1orglaugh

hzoltan 04-18-2007 04:59 AM

zibril 04-18-2007 05:08 AM

After junior high I never had a math teacher - male or female - that combed their hair.

mattz 04-18-2007 07:14 AM

even though I didn't like it my best subject was math. Worst subject umm...I would have to say physics was the hardest, but the one I liked the least, grammer and usage

Sarah_Jayne 04-18-2007 09:12 AM

I never made it to Physics..by the time I would have taken it I was already accepted into a university and just wanted to easiest science I could get..especially with my lack of math skills. I was in AP Poli Sci and AP English and taking really crap level math and science classes just because I wanted an easy ride in them. Which, again, when you have a science teacher for a mother goes a long way to pissing her off.

ffblueocean 04-18-2007 09:22 AM

Loved Math

Pumba 04-18-2007 09:30 AM

The worst: history, it is so boring
The best: aerodinamic constructions

Sarah_Jayne 04-18-2007 09:35 AM

See, I never understood how history or politics was boring..which may be why I ended up having a politics degree.

TheDoc 04-18-2007 09:40 AM

My Dad his a History buff, I simply never had problems with learning it. So overall History was my strongest subject.

English, reading, writing, the teachers.. It wasn't the task, it was what they had us reading/writing about, bunch of boring bs, give me a schematics to a light bulb, that would have been more interesting.

Best subjects.. Lets see, getting expelled for 6 weeks because myself and my roommate learned how to adjust grades - per class room machines through some rather lame security. Then Art, I was sent to the college to learn starting in 10th grade.

What did I fail? Typing

Oh, obviously...my mom is seriously into science but while some of the big concepts of it interest me I was never going to follow in her footsteps.

Worst: Religious Education because my teacher was a fucking moron with an IQ of about 80 and couldn't stand anyone smarter than him (which was half the class) He could never put togther a logical argument for anything he said. (we had to study ostly about moral issues, not particularly any religion)

Dam thats uncool! Are you sure only half the class? IQ of 80 should see almost the entire class be more intelligent and by far. You guys should have taken this guy up before some review board. How can you possibly learn form someone that is that ignorant. Wow I feel for ya dude.

My mom wanted me to do painting like she does. But I like airplanes, flying and astronomy much much more.
I don't understand parents who force their kids to do the "right" thing in life.

shekinah 04-18-2007 11:08 AM

I was good in Biology and drafting but since after high school... didn't know what happened.Other subjects are just so so..

Sounds like you would have been ideal for my mom :1orglaugh

Math was my worst, without a doubt and I didn't do all that well in foreign languages either. Best was English, drama, and Home Ec (do they still teach Home Ec?)

aimeesweet 04-18-2007 12:29 PM

English and History were my best... Geometry and Chemistry were by far my worst

Metalsound 04-18-2007 12:34 PM

Geometry is possibly the class I was the worst at in my entire schooling.

Michaelious 04-18-2007 12:44 PM

My best was history and my worst was maths

ADL Colin 04-18-2007 12:47 PM

Senior project was by best (Suzuki symplectic integration of the motion of the planets). One of only two A's and was awarded a research grant for further study.

Differential geometry was pretty difficult.

Sarah_Jayne 04-18-2007 01:25 PM

We didn't have a senior project at my school..ever since I watched Bill and Ted when I was a kid I kept expecting it to happen in my senior year but it never did.

Grapesoda 04-18-2007 01:37 PM

Magalie 04-18-2007 02:05 PM
