Hey guys - glad you like the pics. I've had a couple of emails from people asking me about how these pics were lit...so I want to share it with whomever of you might be interested.
This is a simple (very simple) set up. One flash from the front in a 22" beauty dish and a photo-assistant back behind the model holding a big silver/gold pop-out reflector and aiming it at the girls body for an accent light. Well...that's about it.
One word of advice for you shooters out there who have a passion for creating good work. Get yourself a few assistants. I have 3 now and it really makes my life much easier. The less I have to stress about things....the more time & energy I can focus on creating pictures. Finding the budget for assistants is the trick.... but once you figure out how to make it happen - you'll notice your work improving!
