There is plenty documentation covering this subject - and this is only based on the South American region alone - we could go global, but pointless. You don't have to agree if it is correct or not - it's a fact of life and commonly known, but maybe not too popular on CNN USA or FOX.

I agree 100%, and thanks for the response.

Organizations like the CIA and the NSA have become and do carry very dirty little secrets and are puppets of the people in power. By that I mean the REAL people in power.

Believe me when I say that I wish things like this didn't happen. Unfortunately these organizations operate with no checks and balances. The founding fathers are really spinning in their graves at that notion.

No no no no - I keep telling you, a question ends with a "?" and you supposed to be asking about my "views" which you don't understand - remember????

You happy now you know which country I'm from? That must have been a great source of confusion in the braincell - apologies :winkwink:

There is shit everywhere Bdiddy - in one form or other. It's a pity is screws up (and kills) many innocent people.

Know a US person here who - well, he now "cultivates his garden" :) - but was involved in some of that historical stuff. He was trained at SOA and involved in meetings on borders with .. forget his name... the military guy in the center of the Iran Contra shit. Tho he worked at times for the US govt - he has a very bad attitude about em - says he would not trust em with anything - he was double-crossed several times. But he's totally "with" the US and in particular with US personnel who have not been recovered from previous "wars".

He still does odd jobs for govts, but really wants to know what the truth is before getting involved.

Hehe.. think there are a few around the globe!!! War torn "soldiers" in some form or other :winkwink:

This guy is still "working" - and even done a good job here (which never ever reaches the media) - but solved a few problems :thumbsup

Dunno why, but I keep ending up with either them or "govt officers" as friends - and got to say, they are the most loyal people I know - and great respect for the work they do which is often at high risk to themselves (and with the accompanying injuries). They sure deserve far more than they get in payment :thumbsup

In the same way I can understand the motivation behind the killings in Iraq. (I mean US killing of Iraqis.)
But I support neither.

In fact I find both abhorrant.

But to think that they are terrorists and we are righteous is a matter of politics and degrees. :2 cents:

This is a public poll. If you dont vote and continue to make stupid fucking threads about things that go on in our country, you will show yourself as a coward.

In fact post exactly what you feel about us in this thread. Bring it out in the open. Ive just about had it this week.

And come in and whine about "its not a fair question" or "bullshit poll" Say how you fucking feel.

I hate that americans feel that they are important enough to start threads about themselves :)

I don't know about the rest of the facts that Sticky posted, but I do know for a fact that Germans are forbidden to sing the second verse of the German anthem. It's been told to me a few times by my German friends.

Have you seen those fucking ridiculous laws you have in the states? You know "not allowed to photograph moose on churchsteps except during fullmoon", and shit... All countries have those, whether they're enforced or not is a different matter. And IF they are enforced, why and where, and in what context? :)

Another thing here I'd like to add that I don't like on some of the americans that post on this board, everything must be black or white. There is no middleground.

What country would that be???

The correct answer is:

Germany

That is indeed true.

Germany, BTW, actually had a real democracy for awhile after WWI but we and the rest of the west (to say nothing of the Russians) were none too pleased with the democratically elected party that took power there in 1933.

In retrospect what the Second World War victors (including the USA) insisted on in the post WWII years was pretty harsh, but understandable given the circumstances.

Still in all, that bit about German citizens not even being allowed to honor their war dead was (and remains) particularly harsh :2 cents:

anthony - that guy is a nazi - he's even in prison because of that. taking him as a source for anything is like considering the Jerry Springer show as a trustworthy news source

and it's the first verse of the german anthem that isn't used - cause it claims germanys borders to be somewhere which is nowadays poland.

lol, puhlease.

I saw you walk by once, when I was on my way somewhere.

Then I saw you later, sitting there looking all metro, and I walked up and reintroduced myself and apologized for making you look bad at MP. You laughed, said I didn't, and we had a good chat.

Meandered. Good word, but no.

Actually that would be somewhere which is nowadays Lithuania :)

The Germans call the place Memel, the people living there now call it Klaipėda.
