I´m not anti-american or anything you mght be thinking.The thing that gets me are the people saying that you can´t say that the guy is american. I´m not talking about citizenship or naturalization or whatever.
If you are raised in a certain country and you lived there for most of you life , I think you can say that the guy was educated as an american. (Disclaimer:I´m not saying most americans are crazy psycho killers either)

I would say "uninformed and uncritical thinking" rather than "crazy". Most Americans aren't crazy nor are they bad people. North American culture at large, is fast paced and all about chasing dollars. One byproduct is that fast food has become not just a convenience but a way of life for many (we leave hard physical labor to immigrants, so weight is gained). So you're right about the fat and greedy part.

imho there's no such thing as "american" nation or ethnicity. (ethnic americans in usa are only indians). the rest are englishmen, italians, irish, mexicans whoever. So this Korean guy (in case he had a usa passport and lived there since 7yo) can be considered american.

Yes I agree. Bush is negligent. He should of sought out this Cho character a long time ago. Sat him down, and fixed the dudes brain with some therapy or something. Because everything is Bush's fault. It also said he was a loner with a history of mental issues. It has nothing to do with being an American, it has to do with the fact that he was mentally unstable. I really do not believe people in the US take mental health seriously until something like this happens.
